Call was picked up by my answering machine @ 9:06A.M. Sunday, April 9th. Call ended seconds after my answering machine message played. I have been receiving similar calls over the past several months or longer. Usually the calls end as described above. Occassionaly there is a recorded message offering to lower interest rates on my credit cards. In the past I have reported this activity to the FCC along with various phone numbers I have gleaned by using the *69 feature on my phone. I spoke with a person a couple of years ago and actually hung up when he asked for my credit card number. I stopped because it costs me $.75 everytime I *69. One month I spent $7.50 chasing phone numbers which is just a waste of money! And my phone service provider informed me there is nothing they can do exceptcollectmy $.75 cents per call. What prompted me to report this call was it was on Easter Sunday morning.
