The caller says he is from New Home Security with headquarters in Charlotte, NC but while the rep was talking I googled it, could find no such company....rep started asking me personal info like how many doors and windows I have, the current security system in place. When I told him I couldn't find his company New Home Security listed anywhere online he hung up on me.

Just call 866-246-7196, they'll remove your phone number from the caller's list and stop the phone calls.

I just did and they said they're client hasn't used this phone number for months and the phone number is disconnected. Therefore, the caller is spoofing the calls; illegally putting in 973-273-7822 into the caller ID which means they can't be traced.
