They have been calling my cell for months always asking for a name I don't know. I tell them and they promised to take my number out of their database. Luckily my cell does have a block number feature, which basically won't ring through NOR go to voice mail. I am on the Do Not Call List, buteven though I can't hear the call, I can see the number popping on my screen. I reported them a few times already, but I think reporting is just a waste of time and effort. . . . . nothing gets done about it! When I used to answer the people claim to be a collection agency and looking for "Audric" and "Aubry" (not sure on the spelling), don't rememeber where?

Not sure if this is all from the same company but this is the past month. I had a couple calls from landlines that I have no clue who they are and the same drill... a call with no answer on the other end...so in case the remote possibility of it being a private number is true, i blocked out the last 4 numbers. This was taken directly from my Comcast online statement. Pretty damned disturbing. The MCO Financial is a bill collector that will not believe us that whoever this John Willows guy is, doesn't live here. I've never heard of nor has a John Willows even HAD this number as I checked with a friend at the phone company. We are the first to actually have this number so WTF? I'm blocking as many as I can (up to 12 i think) and over time, when new ones pop up i guess I'll have to take out the old ones and block the new ones. This is RIDICULOUSLY BIZARRE! DID THE DO NOT CALL LIST GET REPEALED? They keep calling me. They do not leave any message. They keep bothering
block it
Called over 10 times in one week.
(888) 565-3305 I see I am not the only one getting calls from this number.. I got 8 calls in one day, so I called them back several times and requested that I be removed, etc. and so on and they would hang up on me.. so, this last time they called me, I called them back 10 times in a row and gave them a piece of my mind and I used every curse word in the book and threatened them with more than you want to know, each time they would hang up on me.. then I called them back over and over again until they gave me a so called supervisor and I told them that for everytime they called me I was going to call them 10 times.. and that I would report them to the phone co. the La. do not call list website and I would be their worst nightmare if they didnt take my name off of their computers/list etc.. so far I have not gotten a call back, but I am waiting...we all must file complaints with our telephone companies and get this to stop, it is totally ridiculous that scammers can get away with this, they said they were "YourInsurance.com ok, right!
Calls ALL DAY LONG!! blocked them and I still get messages saying they are calling up to 5her times a day!!!
Calls multiple times every day but never leaves a message.
spam
they called me four times on sunday and it began at 8:30 am. i sleep in on that day and i was upset to say the least. then about 1:51 pm and 6:27 and 7:31 in the evening. they then began on monday, tues etc. this has been going on for over 6 months. Thanks for the tips i will try some of these suggestions.
Please let me know where they are physically located. I want to talk with them in person and explain to them I do not want their phone calls. Then, I'd like to shoot all of them right through their left eyeball with a 357 mag. One they have all been shot, they wont call anymore. Problem solved.
It's NOT THAT BAD. Just block their number! And then, take a chill pill.
call all day long and my job
they don't answer after you pick up the phone. i wrote the number down and have it next to my phone and so when they show up on caller id i don't answer. they don't leave a message. after awhile they will stop but they will start up again at a later date. Also when you look for insurance make a call to a local insurance company to check out their rates, never do it on the internet. Also, make sure when you do get insurance ask them to NOT put your email out there. You may have to pay and get you bill the old fashioned way through the US mail again.
The company is Yourinsurancerequest.com I was able to find this out by calling from a different number than the one they have on their records, that way it doesn't show up on their caller ID system when i call.. This method is good to use if you wish to report unsolicited companies.. They are Telemarketing company.. Add them to a Do Not call
Thanks for posting this information! The next step is going to donotcall.gov and file a complaint with the FTC. If enough people file a complaint about this company every time they call, then I believe the telephone calls will eventually stop.
Insurance
Dunno what they want. Answered to nothing. Sent it to BlacklistPurgatory. Call all you want. I ain't answering...
I CONSTANTLY get calls from this number. Informed them that i wanted them to remove my numbers from their call lists...they still call, MULTIPLE times per day. Called state attorney general's office, was told they are number 7 on their "Most Wanted Spammers & Most Wanted Do Not Call List Violators". Was given some rather interesting/disturbing ideas by the state AG's office. #1 KEEP A RECORD OF ALL CALLS! DO NOT DELETE THE RECORD OF THEIR CALLS, OR BLANK VOICE MAILS! When they call, KEEP THEM ON THE PHONE AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. GET AS MUCH INFORMATION AS POSSIBLE, and turn it over to your state AG's office. If they get enough complaints, they have no choice but to act. #2 Call them back, act interested. KEEP THEM ON THE PHONE FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. GET AS MUCH INFORMATION AS POSSIBLE, and turn it over to your state AG's office. If they get enough complaints, they have no choice but to act (the person i spoke with at my state AG's office kept repeating this). #3 If you cannot keep them on the phone when they call, or you cannot get them on the phone when you call them back, or you cannot get any information from them, this proves fraud & harassment through the phone lines, which is a federal offense. Once again, contact your state AG's office, and report them. If they get enough complaints, they have no choice but to act. #4 The first thing they will do is try to get your phone number(s). They use the numbers themselves, and also sell them to others who WILL call you more often than before, with the excuse that you gave them your phone number(s). NEVER GIVE THEM YOUR PHONE NUMBER(s)! If you do, then you have no claim or cause for complaint. #5 OBVIOUSLY this is a scam, and not a legitimate business. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION! Who in their right mind would buy insurance (of any kind), from a random caller or telemarketer? #6 If your numbers are registered with the Do Not Call Registry, report them there as well. Verify that your number is registered at the Do Not Call site, and then fill out the form. There is an online form at their site for just this type of thing. www.donotcall.gov #7 An oldie but a goodie (ala "Seinfeld"). Tell them that you are very interested, but don't have the time to talk, then ask them for their personal number, so you can call them back later. When they say they won't give you their personal number, ask them why. They will tell you something along the lines of "we aren't allowed to take work calls on our personal number", or "i don't want you to call me on my personal number." Tell them you are at work, and can't take personal calls at work, or "now you understand why i don't want you to call me." #8 If all else fails...Call them and ask for a supervisor (there aren't any supervisors, but they will put 'someone' on the phone). Claim that someone from their number called you (pick a time when they did not call you, so that you know they don't have a recording of their own from the time you choose), and say that the person who called sexually harassed you over the phone. Tell them that they wouldn't give you their name (or they gave you a fake name, so make one up), and you recorded the whole thing. Tell them that you are taking the recordings to the police and district attorney/state attorney's office. Even better, say that they sexually harassed your teenage daughter when they called, whether you have children or not. Fight fire with fire. The calls WILL stop. Better yet, keep it legal, and fight them to the finish. You could possibly win a nice sum of $$$$$$.
Block them
I never gave them my #. They ask me about a 95 Ford Ranger. I wouldn't be caught dead in one of those.
stop them
