We are on all the do not call lists. This company keeps calling & calling. Sometimes 3x day. 8AM, 1PM, 9PM...sometimes ever 15 minutes for a few hours. They leave messages or only let phone ring 3 x so it doesn't trigger answering machine. We have no collection amts due. Maybe they are looking for person who had our phone # before us...but chances are it is just a random computerized message call.
This is harassment and is an illegal invasion of privacy.

Allied Interstate is a collection agency, they collect for several differrent companies. They collect old debts that have gone unpaid. They are not a scam, and the people they are trying to reach are usually dead beats who don't pay bills. They try to reach these dead beats from records that are provided by the original comapny (sometimes years old) as well as by doing a thing called "skip tracing" where in they use old addresses and know relatives to find someone. If they call you and it is not you they were looking for just ask them to remove your number from the file and they will stop calling. A debt collector does not want to waste their time calling you if you are not who they are looking for. These people don't make money calling wrong numbers. As for the "Do Not Call" list, that is ONLY for people who are trying to SELL you something, and it does not apply to collection agencies.

We get this call several times usually in am. We believe it is a scam collection agency. Message is vague and we don't have any debt do not provide your personal information to. Them

Called 4 times on april 2,2010 left no mess.when I clld them it was recording with no company name.- blocked them from on my cel #.

Allied Interstate I thought They sold car batteries but Allied Interstate student loan collection is their game.....
These guys keep calling and calling... Specifically this guy name "Paul Smith" a collector keeps calling and they even try to get information about me from my 10 year old son.....
They are collecting on student loans, and they will try to strong arm you into making commitments that are not realistic. I kept telling them that my hours were cut and I couldnt make the HUGE payments they were asking me to make..... SO I WENT ON THE INTERNET....
These guys just lied.... I was able to negotiate a monthly payment with them that was more affordable...
I found this guy on the internet he calls him self "The rogue Student Loan Collector" and he showed me everything I needed to do to SHUT THESE COLLECTORS UP!!!
Read their stuff Seriously.... No joke... He saved my family... Really....

They call at least twice a day, usually more. from first thing in the morning until after eight at night. They every once in a while leave a message which is prerecorded. I don't know who they are. In the prerecorded message they don't say who they are looking for. This has to be considered harrassment and has to be illegal no matter why they are calling. People have been sued for calling less then they do. This has to stop it is driving me insane. Every time my phone rings I tense up because it usually them. They call me more then my mother does. There has to be something I can do.

this place called and left a message to call them back. so i did, they were not looking for me the were looking for an ex brother in law. I call my sister to get his cell # and I called these people back and gave them his number so they would not call me again.

Claimed to have a past due amount on my deceased mother's phone from 2003. Her obituary was just in the paper so that is probably where they got here name. How rotten can some people be. Caller had a very quite hard to hear voice which seemed deliberate. My mother never had a bill that was overdue in her whole life.

Have received several of there calls saying we owe
for an account that was closed 5 years ago.
Said I would mail proof if they gave me their location.

I'VE GOTTEN 2 CALLS IN THE LAST TWO DAYS. WE HAVE NO OUTSTANDING DEBTS AND I HAVE IGNORED THE CALLS. I WONDER IF THIS IS A WAY OF GETTING INFO FOR IDENTITY THEFT. I HAVE BLOCKED THEIR NUMBER, SHOULD STOP THEM. I WOULDN'T GIVE THEM THE TIME OF DAY.

I work nights so it is causing sleep disorders when this "Allied Interstate" calls with a computerized machine at around 9am on random times (5 times in the last two days) I am on the D.N.C. (do not call) list. I pay all of my bills (most are paid months in advance) so I do not owe any money. Also in the commonwealth of PA (my state) it is illeagle for companies to use computerized calling devices! We need to group and file a class action lawsuit to stop this abuse since the ftc. fine is $11,000 per call! This has been tried and won in the past! I beleve this is a scam of some type!

Keep getting calls from Allied Interstate. no one responds. Tried calling back 5 times just get recording still have not talked to anyone. I too am on the do not call list. I say lets sue the hell out of them and shut them down.

They won't stop calling. They have called me at least 10 times and are very rude. They keep asking for my husband and wont tell me what it is about other than he has something in collections and they are trying to help. My husband has clearances that would be taken away if he had debts, so I know it is false.I have asked them several times to stop calling and told them that I am on a do not call list. They tell me it doesn't apply to their company. I had enough today and told the rude man on the phone I pay the phone bill and to stop calling or I was contacting my lawyer he laughed at me and told me that there is nothing a lawyer can do to them.
