866 478 9812 is calling twice a day between 7.45 AM and 8.15 AM. Also in the evenings. All started 3 month ago when all of sudden our Direct TV connection was disconnected. A few hours later a guy called us from 866 478 9812. He said thank you for choosing Direct TV and asked for payment of past due bill. The guy on the phone had ALL our Direct TV account info as well as our checking account information. We were not suspicious so we gave the guy our credit card and paid. Not even 2 minutes later, our Direct TV connection came back. So again we were not suspicious at all. The next month the same happened and we paid again. Then guess what ... the third month the same guy called us again and again and again asking for Direct TV past due payment. Luckily this time we became suspicious because we had just paid our monthly bill. We called Direct TV and they said it was not them calling us. But ...... ????? if it was not Direct TV calling us who else could have disconnect and then reopen our Direct TV ???? Actually the same number is still calling us like crazy but we don't pick up the phone anymore. We changed all our credit cards and checking accounts. THIS IS A RIP OFF SCAM in connection to Direct TV!!!! DO NOT PAY OR EVER ANSWER THIS NUMBER !!!!!

This is a scam to get personal information from you.

I get called from this number twice every morning and it shows as "unavilable" on my caller id. i've never answered. I have direct tv but my billing is up to date, so I think this is a bill collection agency from a credit card, which I do owe :(

I have submitted a number of complaints to the Do Not Call Registry about repeated calls. I complained to AT&T who was supposed to get them to remove me from the call list. I have also complained to the Public Service Commission. I have NEVER had a Direct TV account and would advise anyone not to do business with them. If they get your cell number, you might not EVER to get rid of them.

Claimed they wer direct tv, had my account number and old credit card number and my account number. They asked for payment of past due and one month up front. Direct tv cut me off this morning and I told them I payed Antione when the called on the 13 of september at 8:27 p.m. Customer service tells me that it is not them calling and they do not ask for payment over the phone. Direct tv tells me that they did not recieve payment. I checked my bank online. It just said it was taken out of an atm. DO NOT PAY THEM IT IS A RIP OFF, and they have to be connected to direct tv, how else would they have my account number and old credit card number????
