I got a call from that number today. I just got a new cell a few weeks ago and ended up answering & hanging up on them instead of just ignoring the call as intended. I was at work and the vibration was distracting.
Now I do know that BMO is currently doing something with life insurance and I do bank with them. So it might be legitimate. But, of course, if this is a service you'd like to have, you should always contact the bank yourself.

I got call from this number and they told me they are selling life insurance on behalf of BMO. I almost gave my credit card number. It's good that my wife told me not to give it because it seems suspicious. When I checked Google, there are equally number of who are suspicious about this number.
I think these are scammer, plain and simple. The public should be forewarned because they can be victimized by these smooth talking criminals.
