Play with them and have fun with these, usually ladies, if you can call them that, ladies I mean. Try different things each time they call, and you will be having fun. If you do it right, and you will learn after a few calls, soon you can have a good laugh when you are done with the call. Be sure to hold it, the laugh, until the end of the call, after they hang up. If you do this, soon you will get better and better at it, and then be looking forward to their calls. Eventually they will hang up every time as they don't want to deal with nut jobs, slow thinkers, kids, really old people, etc., etc., etc. Then again the following day they will call from some other number they use, and again you have the opportunity to have a great time at the expense of people trying to make a buck with no regard for your feelings; so it is not worth considering theirs, because they are motivated and trained for only what they think they can get out of you, which of course is money. Where is the love, not in them; I mean, how would you like to be married to one of these types of people? You will win if your script is better than theirs.”

It is Portfolio Recovery. They will tell you that you owe them money from a debt a dozen years or more ago. Do not trust them; they do not pay the original lender, but keep the money. If your dept is 7 years old (and you have not made a payment in 7 years) they can not report the dept, or sue to collect. Do not feed the beast or talk with them.

Portfolio Recovery Associates trying to collect on debt that was dealt with almost fifteen years ago? Recommend that you not even answer these scammers. If possible simply set there personal ringtone to nothing cause they will not give up no matter what!

calling for someone with my last name at 630am in the morning. didn't believe me when Itold him I didn't know anyone by that name.

A very poorly spoken person refused to identiy herself, why she was calling, or what she was calling about. Then wanted to know why I ask so many questions. I wasted three minutes of her time. I tried to keep her on the line as long as possible, just to make her life difficult.
