I contacted the Governor of my state, Missouri, and soon after all the calls stopped from this number, and other numbers they were using saying they were with Citi. I wasn't even the person they were looking for, yet they still kept calling me up to 5 times a day.

These guys claim to be from Citi cards but they are not. They call all the time, and Sundays are not off limits for them. This is a scam!

These people claim to be from Citicorp. Beware! They are not with Citicards and are only trying to get your personal information to steal it.

They've been calling everymorning for the last two weeks. I call them back and as soon as they answer I hang up. They call the following morning and I reciprocate. I'd hate to be the employee who keeps answering my return phone calls just to get hung up again and again. At least they are employed. If they weren't getting hung up by me, they'd be unemployed. Maybe these are the jobs these politicians keep promising to make if they are elected and I thought they were just going to open up more McDonald's and Burger Kings.

Sometimes hang up, leaves no vm, automated voice message when they don't hang up

These folks call me 10 times a day. I do not pick up and certainly after reading about them, I def will NOT speak to them but they are burning up minutes on my cell phone, thus costing me money. Who r they and what is their purpose? There must be a way to get rid of them if they are a scam. DO NOT give them any info. If they are legit, they are looking at your account on their computer and know the vital info. I think I WILL start answering and just leave the line open....maybe that will screw up their calling rotation.....

I received a call today from 816-420-4633. She was looking for my spouse but I took the call. She stated that she is from Citi client first, a division of citibank collections department. I wasn't impressed. Haha She asked me if I was authorized to discuss the account and I said I don't know nor do I care because if my husband was dead, you'd be talking to me anyway. Haha I was having fun. She was a mere form of entertainment to me and this is my point for all of you reading this. Do NOT let these people manipulate you or take away your power. She thought she was in control but found out sooner than she could think of her next line that it was indeed I who would conduct this interview and ask the questions. Haha I wanted to know the corporate headquarters location and phone number, the CEO's name, and then she said I have a number you can call about that. Haha. I am not calling another number I am asking you. Either you have this relevant information or you don't. If you don't this conversation is over. Period. She said well they are going to keep calling you about this past due amount. I said really? I have no problem blocking this number so have fun with that Chammelle - her name. Haha Here's what you do. Look on your statement, call the toll free number there and ask Citibank directly. I did just that and wanted everyone to know this... This number nor the company they claim to represent or are has NO affiliation with Citibank corporation. The operator wanted the number that called me today so she could sent it over to their security department. I encourage everyone to do this because that will send Citibank a strong message and perhaps speed up this process to halt the abuse of customers and the citibank trade name. Good luck to everyone and never release any information to people calling you claiming to represent a certain company. By the way, after I hung up I did block the number. Haha

Calling us non stop even after I told them that the person they are looking for it not working in our company. Caller wanted me to tell them our telephone number (the one that they called to) so that she can take it off their list. Unbelievable! I hang up as I didn't know what kind of system/spam was that.

received a call at 8 am in the morning on a Sunday. Advised they are with Citicard. I told them my account is closed. They wanted to speak with my husband. I informed them we no longer have a citicard account there should be no reason to call my house. I told them not to call to remove my number. There is a harassment law that covers them making calls over and over. Was told they didn't care about the law and would call when they felt like it. Shows the number coming out of Kansas City, MO. 1-816-420-4633

they left message part of it was citi services call us back can not leave message. I called wanted my tel to identify... says it was wrong.... later got a call again same # and ask for my husband by name... Says will call back at a later date. I then contacted Citicards... they use many #'s but this one..... If you have any question and concern call your credit card .. please use the number on the credit card.... i now will not pick up on calls i do not reconize.. AND there is always mail..

caller reported to be a CitiBank debt collector...I don't do business with CitiBank...called on cell phone then ask for one of my coworkers
