I was trying to book a hotel through KAYAK, and when choosing the hotel I wanted, I called the number that showed on the page, and someone helped me make the reservation. However, I didn't get the confirmation letter, so about ten minutes later, I tried to call back, but I couldn't reach anyone on the phone; I was transferred from one option to another option, getting no chance to talk to anyone. Then I typed this number on google and searched, only to realize that this is scam number. I called my american express card company to cancel the deal, and they said that they couldn't cancel it because it had been approved. They said that the information shows that the phone is from expedia, I will be more careful next time when booking online. A very bad experience!

Used this and it didnt book a hotel. Scam.

this number acted like they were choice hotels total scam took my information and when i arrived the hotel said it was not choice hotels who set up my reservations. these people lie and i don't like it.

I called this number twice and was told by the person on the phone that they were Marriott Reservations. When they asked for certain information I should have known that I was being lied to. They did make a reservation but I was charged in advance of booking the room and was not able to gain reward points when I got to the hotel. The hotel informed me (when I got there) that I had booked through Expedia. Never did anyone say it was Expdia. I called back after I got to the hotel and after being quite unpleasant to several happy people on the phone, found out I was on Hotel.com. I finally made it to a supervisor named Tina (probably the receptionist) who said and did absolutely nothing. She could have been from Mexico, India, or Wyoming for all I know. If you do a web search on your Blackberry, this number will come up and have Marriott in the url. It is totally BS. Stay away from this number.
