Missed the call. It was t-mobile calling me back to let me know they fixed a problem that was preventing me from receiving MMS. Wish I answered before looking here. Oh well. Problem solved, I'm happy.

Repeated text and phone messages: - Asked for information to change mobile account to T-Mobile per my request (which I did not make). - Demanded I add money to my account immediately or it would be closed - although I don't have an account with T-Mobile. When you call this number it is a T-Mobile answering service.

This phone number showed up on my bank statement, saying it was a recurring payment from t-mobile. They stole $94 out of my bank account, and it was an unauthorized transaction. We contacted t-mobile customer service and they had no record of the "payment." We had to change our bank account and report a fraudulent use of our credit card. This is how it looked on my bank statement 8/5/2011 Point of Sale POS- T-MOBILE RECURRING PMT 800-937-8997 WA 000000 $94.02 This happened about 2-3 days after we called T-mobiles 611 number to pay our bill. That payment was fine, but then this fraudulent one appeared.

Would seem to me that a SCAM is stealing T-Mobile users' account information in order to charge them on a monthly basis for services T-Mobile has not provided. I never signed up for the automated billing payment, yet I was charged for years. I called T-Mobile on several ocasions, and they had no idea what I was talking about. Then I called Discover Card, but I can only dispute the last 6 months charges. I payed over $1600 for the last 24 months, perhaps more, but Discover transaction history only goes back 2 years. Here is the first I can recall and last transaction: 03/30/10 03/30/10 T-MOBILE RECURRING PMT 800-937-8997 WA 631006235 $ 37.21 Services 02/23/12 02/24/12 T-MOBILE RECURRING PMT 800-937-8997 WA 871571756 $ 38.25 Services I'm really upset with T-Mobile for not conducting their own investigation to protect their customers from scams like these. I'll try to call T-Mobile Fraud Department 1-888-624-5173 today and get an answer.
