Received a voicemail from 21st Century Insurance saying I requested an insurance quote. The caller used my maiden name, (I've been married now for 3 years). I called back and asked to be removed from the calling list. The man said they use an outside source and that those people will need to remove me. Received two more missed calls. Called back a second time. The man asked for the state I was in and my name. I asked him why he wanted that information. He said he wanted to see if I was in the system. After spelling my name wrong five times he finally determined that I was not in the system. By this time I hung up and came to this site to read other reviews.

I have been called four times in the last 20 min. Also they use 916-585-7687. They claim to be 21st Century Ins. This is a scam.
How is this a scam? The get a request with your information requesting an insurance quote...and then they call you to give you an insurance quote. It's pretty standard.

They called, and asked for my 5 yo kid by name. Should I submit 21st Century Insurance to the pedophile police?
Both men and women call nonstop and dont leave a voicemail. They claim you filled out a survey online and they can get you all pharmacuticals delivered to your home at not charge. They just need insurance info. Total fake!
These guys called 5 times today need to find a way to block these ass-holes
I received 5 calls within 30 min. One came from the 800 number and the others came from a 562-343-9329. I did not pick up at first because i did not know the number plus i was at work. I than i had my friend pick up the last 2 times and tell them that I did not have my phone. The women hung up and called right back and my friend told her the same thing and to stop calling. I never asked for an insurance quote.
They have called my home number four times in less than an hour! I did not answer the phone because I didn't recognize who it was. The caller ID says Toll Free Caller. I have not requested any insurance quotes online, through the mail or to anyone on the phone. I have no idea why they are even calling or how they got my number.
This happens when you go online and you fill out the forms for the surveys for a website. If they as you for you to participate in a questionnaire or participate in a survey and you end up filling out information for your car insurance. This is a form of a SCAM for them to GIVE your information to a verity of Insurance Companies to CALL you because you filled out there SURVEY and gave them your info, IE on your CAR or your HOME or BOTH, So thus your suckered into getting calls from all kinds of companies for insurance. My suggestion is if you "Do want to get the calls GIVE A TRUE Phone number, Otherwise, Give them a fake phone number because its only a SCA

Don't answer this call. This is a scam insurance company. If you show any interest in lowering your insurance costs, they will tell you "Wow! you have a really good insurance rate! We can't compete against that!", and that will be the end of "their" call. Within ten minutes you will recieve a barage of non-stop calls (20 to 30 per day) from other fake agencies who will try to beat your rates. NONE OF THME ARE LEGIT INSURANCE COMPANIES! The goal is to break you down till you get a price quote that you like, then they get your personal info and raid your bank acount, credit cards and steal other personal info.
...or not. Every single large, reputable insurance companies use internet leads like this to gain customers. They wouldn't need to get you on the phone to get the information necessary to "raid your bank account, credit cards, and steal other personal info". The info they get usually includes full name, address, previous address, previous insurers, driver's license number, social security number, maiden name, etc. They're really trying to sell you insurance.
Same story here.....3 calls in 45 minutes! Left a voicemail claiming that I made an online request. I never made an online request for an insurance estimate and would not do so.
Called 3 times in a half hour, so I finally picked up... Asked for me, said I requested an auto insurance quote.. Which I definitely did not, and I told her so, and also to take me off of their list. She again repeated that I requested an auto quote online, and I said.... hmmm that's interesting information! Because I definitely DID NOT!!! She "thanked me for my time" and hung up. Who knows how they got my number.. I've had the same auto insurance for a while, am very happy with it, so I was most definitely not online shopping for anything insurance related.
Calls over and over again
5 calls from this number at 1:36, 1:53, 2:12, 2:55, and 3:21pm I finally returned the call, it was Centrury 21 Insurance the (the messages said we had requested an online quote). I told the man that the online quote was over a year ago and that we have been on the national do not call list since Jan 2012. And that I have spoken to this same office before and told them the same thing that we do not want a quote and to take us off of their calling list. He said that they use a outside source and whenever you use a online service to get quotes it is called an aggregate site and that what happens is that they are selling back old lists and just changing the date and making it look to them (centrury 21) like it is a new list. He said that the list shows we requested a quote on 3/15/2012. I told him that this is what his office said before when I spoke with them months ago, only then we were supposedly to have requested the info in January. However no information has been requested for more than a year, and no information is wanted period anylonger. Besides that 5 calls in one day is harrassment at any rate. He then told me that they also use an outside source to make the phonecalls, that use their phone number as well. He said that he had now put into the system not to call as we don’t want a quote and did not recently request one, I told him to include that I will also report any calls to the FCC since they did THIS as well (load the info into the system) the last time and it didn’t work, so apparently the only way that anything is going to make a difference is when they start getting fined for making all of the calls and drop the aggregate sites who falsfy the lists given to them.
