Been getting a call every few weeks from this number. This morning I finally called them. They said they had no record of my number. What a load of BS, when they called me at 2pm yesterday.
If they call again I won't call them back I will just go to the cops and press harassment charges.

They left me a message saying I owed for Double Book Club or something like this. I have not ordered any books in over 5 years and I know I paid that off as I can get ahold of the cancel check. They were leaving messages now they arent doing that they just keep calling.

I continually rec'd calls from NRA stating I owe approx $50 for a music subscription. They've reached the wrong person and I'm frustrated with trying to communicate to them, they've reached the wrong person.

Alright so i've been getting these calls for about three months... They NEED to STOP! I finally called them back recently, and got some A**HOLE woman on the phone. I asked her to "Please take me off your calling list" She replied with the classic "We don't have a calling list Ma'am" So i told her "Well then stop calling this number" She then asked me "What is the number your referring too?" I Told her "The one i'm calling from" She said that she didn't know what number that was. Which is total bull cause it's not like my number comes up as unknown they clearly know it. And i wasn't about to give it up, In case in some twisted way it became theirs! She then replied with a B*TCHY "Have a good day Ma'am" but before she could even finish i hung up. If they are looking for money i don't care they just need to stop calling me! I don't have any credit cards! I'm a minor! Which in my opinion makes it TEN times worse! It's getting a bit stalkerish.
P.S She doesn't need to call me Ma'am cause i'm assuming she is older the me... In which case maybe she should get some sort of education, or maybe just a better job. Perhaps one that doesn't involve no skills what so ever. I could obviously pick up a phone and call the same number 20 times a week. But it would give me no satisfaction.

2009 11 20 1146: ROBO CALL - they are breaking the FDCPA law ... massage left in parts finally gets around to saying it is from a bill collector /collection agency. THAT IS ILLEGAL TO allow 3rd parties to know that a call is from a collection agency / bill collectore.
PLUS it doesnt prove that NAME answered the phone when an answering machine picks it up !!!-
and plays the whole message (in cluding the FDCPA illegal announcement of the call is from National Recovery Agency a debt collector - 3rd parties can hear it).
report them !!!
also be aware of your states statue of limitations for recovery of debt ... if it has been 4, 6, 10, years since last contact- 3rd party cannot do it. judgement may be as long as 20 years. if you make a payment (or agree to) you start the clock rolling again.

bottom line..ppl need to b more responsibl and pay their bills while they have customer svc, so they wont have dbts to end up with dbt collctors and the ONLY reasons a msg is left and ppl hear the fdcpa disclosure is because NOSEY ppl contd to listen...staighten ur facts and PAY YOUR BILLS!! because if you owe my agency then more than likely u owe someone else

if i owed something then they would have contacted me first by postal mail. i have not received any thing. still the resorded mesage they leave is illegal according to FDCPA. and many people they call are not the people that live there ... when told so they still do not stop the calls.

I'm getting the same calls. Just tell them you want a written statement of the debt mailed to you through the U.S. mail (which Federal law says they have to provide if you ask for it). Sign #1 that they can't be trusted is that they won't want to do this--they'll want you to pay over the phone. Sign #2 is that they may also not have your current address.
