Caller ID says "Unknown". I let the machine pick up. They do not leave messages.
When I get nuisance calls like these I simply enter the number into my phone's memory and tag it "solicitor" then set the ringer to no ring/silent for that number. When they call again from the same number, if I happen to see the phone light up all I see is Solicitor in the ID. It doesn't ring. It doesn't bother me. They don't leave a message. Sometimes when I check the caller ID history I'll see several 'solicitor" calls per day but they are unable to bother me.
If I do happen to answer - they usually hang up or stay silent.
