I have been receiving calls from these clowns daily. I do not and never have had a home mortgage from BofA. I called their real number to verify that they hadn't recently bought my mortgage. Then called the number back. They would no longer accept all "O" for SSN and zip code. I used 123-45-6789 and 12345. That got me to Gautam. I didn't carry on any pleastantries but asked for this supervisor. When Ryan Ali answered (another Indian) I imeadiatly asked for his SSN. When he refused I lwt him know I would not provide that information either. He assurred me he would remove my number - which is the only information I provided. I threatened to contact the FTC, FCC and SEC as well as my representatives and I will if I get another call.

Automated call identifying itself as Bank of America collections. They ask for three types if information, SSN, home ZIP and PIN. If you refuse to answer any combination of these questions the phone will not be transferred to a agent. This has to be a scan!

Asked for ?. I explained that the person in question was not at this location. Told him that I had registered my cell phone number with a number given to me my cell phone carrier.
I have received five unwanted calls from this number in two days. What can be done?

I called BofA today and they said the 800-669-0102 is their collection agency. I dont have any loans with BofA. They transferred me but the guy said I need to wait for the call he could not help me or transfer me. Then that number called my cell phone again as I angrily hung up the phone with the useless rep and I went ahead and punched in some #s then was able to get through to a rep...basically he was asking me if I owned a property I rented almost 10 years ago! Not sure why the old landlord would use my info! Anyway he said he has removed me so hopefully that is the end of that, I will also file a complaint with FCC
stop the maddness

We have been getting calls for over a year and a half. They ask for a name similar to my husbands. We have been told repeatedly they would remove our number from the list, but they keep calling. Sometimes 4-5 times a day (for 1 1/2yrs) I have tried everything with them they wont stop. I tried being nice, threats, everything. I have filed a complaint with the FCC, but I don't know what else to do.

My 12 year old son is getting these crazy people calling him on his cell phone. Yesterday they called 10 times and so far today they have called 6. And you can't get anywhere with the automative system. If anyone knows how to get them to stop, I would like to know.

These people are calling from India. When you go throught the automated system when you call back, it will ask you to type in the SS #. Enter a fake #. I talked to these people and they asked a lot of personal questions. I started in on them with a few questions of my own. I asked them who I was........Do I have a loan there, you tell me. You tell me who I am. Why are you asking for my number. He said, well you may not have a l loan with us...........Is your name so and so. No that is not my name, so why are you asking for my SS#, if you don't even know who I am, or if I have a loan with your bank? Then I asked where he was calling from. India , he said..............and then I hung up. I called the news station and they said it is a scam and BOA know what is going on. There is nothing that you can do to stop the calls.

I have been receiving calls on my cell from (800) 669-0102 three to four times a day for the past two weeks. They claim to be Bank of America Home Loans. I do not have a home loan, don't even own a home. It started out as a prerecorded message, but lately it has been an actual person. The recorded message asked me to for account information, when I didn't give any it told me to call (800) 604-8630 . That number was an answering service stating they were BAC Home Loan Servicing and asked me for account info and Social Security number. There was no option to speak to a real life representative. Finally I entered false information (all zeros) and was routed to a representative, who asked for my name and SSN. I gave neither, explained my situation and was transferred to someone who could help me. They, of course, couldn't help me and I was transferred again. I described my situation to the last person and was finally told my phone number would removed from the system in 7-10 days. Fine. But its been 7-10 days.
When I answer these calls and do get a real person they ask for someone named "Fred Bridge," not me. I tell them they have the wrong number and they hang up. Finally today I told them that is not my name and I want the calls to stop immediately. The lady asked how long I've had my phone number, which is about 10 years. The lady said she would "make a note of that," and hung up.
If I receive another call I'm reporting them, I might report them anyways.

We keep getting calls from this number. Every once in a while they will leave a prerecorded message on our machine, but mostly it's just call after call after call. Yesterday this number showed up eight times during the day, the first starting at 8:09am and the last time was after 9pm.
From what I understand, it's a number for debt collection. Currently we don't have any debts that are unattended to, and this constant barrage of calls from them is beginning to feel like solicited harassment.
It needs to stop.

Recently we’ve been getting a lot of phone calls from the phone number 1-800-669-0102 . They’ve only called 4 times, but I have a feeling they’ll be calling A LOT more than that.
Here are the dates and times they’ve called so far:
May 18, 2010 8:46 PM message
May 28, 2010 1:23 PM no message
June 7, 2010 8:07 AM no message
June 7, 2010 1:30 PM no message
They left a message (it was a computerized recording) the first time (5/18/10) they called, but they hung up on the answering machine all the other times. This is what it said:
“Please call Bank Of America Home loans at 1-800-669-0102 . Office hours are Monday through Thursday 8am to midnight Eastern time, Friday 8am to 10pm, Saturday 8am to 3pm, and Sunday 6pm to 11pm. Once again, please call Bank Of America Home Loans at 1-800-669-0102 . Please have your account number available when returning this call. This is not a solicitation message. Thank you.”
I called this number back after hours and found out ,from the recording that came on, that it’s actually something called BAC Home Loans Servicing LP. I looked up that name and found out IT’S A BILL COLLECTOR!
The funny thing is, we don’t have any association with Bank Of America whatsoever so why on Earth are these people calling my house? Either they think they’re calling the number of someone else or it’s a flat out SCAM. I’ll never know though because I don’t answer phone calls from phone numbers I don’t recognize.

I received a call from 800-669.0102 on my cell and then my office line! The guy asked said he is with bank of america (which is where my mortgage is from) and asked for the last 4 digits of my social security number. I told him I didn't feel comfortable giving that to him with fraud, etc. So I didn't. He wasn't very friendly and told me to call back and see it's no scam. It is a scam...he couldn't tell me why he was calling until he gave me that!! DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION

I am current on my Bank of America Mortgage and have been a customer for several years. Recently I have had financial difficulties. A counselor told me I qualified for the Home affordable program and when I asked Bank of America for a Loan Modification they instantly started calling my cell phone every hour in the morning from 8 til 2pm. I mean every hour. i was not even in default. They also call in the evenings on the hour. I now may have to Block their number but wondering how to communicate about a modification. They do this on purpose and put you a bad list. They don't really want to help people yet they are taking Government Money. Anyone who has an account with Bank of America should close their account. No matter how loyal you are to them if times get tough they kick you when your down. The Government should not be giving them funds for modifications

I have no accounts with Bank of America, not even a savings account, but I received numerous calls from this number. I hope this information helps all of you stop the calls.
Received 15 calls from this number in three weeks on my cell phone which is registered annually on the National DO-NOT-CALL List looking for Joseph Dunham, who I am not. 4 of these times, I was nearby the phone and able to answer, and I told the calling representative I am not that person, do not know that person, this has been my number for 3 years and to remove my phone number immediately. The last time they called, I was able to answer for the 5th time, and instead of a humanoid, I was greeted by a recorded voice menu with a salesman-type voice. Without entering an account number or SSN/Zip Code, it told me to hang on while they transferred my call to a real person to update their list. After 60 secs, the call was dropped - they hung up.
I was furious, so I called this number back with an idea. I entered an obviously fake SSN and Zip Code, but the system put me through to a person. The representative with a middle-eastern accent asked for my account number. I explained the situation to him, so he asked for my Name and Phone Number to remove me from the list. I refused to give him my name, so he refused to help me. I got irate and demanded a manager. He patched me through to Christina (also had a middle-eastern accent) verified the situation, and I explained that I would not give them any information beyond the phone number to be removed from the list and the reasons for that (scams, and my name is not their business.) She promised my number would be removed promptly and that I would not receive another call. I asked who I would contact if I did receive another call, and she gave me a fax number...really? No humanoids? I promised her that if I received another call, her company would be hearing from the FTC, FCC, BBB, my local Attorney General, and my personal Attorney, and it would be far from pleasant.
After two weeks, I have not received one call from them.

Calls in and hangs up. No opportunity to speak with anyone. I did a reverse lookup and came up with VAC Home Loan Servicing. No info avail. I researched and ended up calling Countrywide debt collection at 888-800-5420 . Customer service rep put in our business tel # and came up with 12 names!. She removed each one. Her service was terrific! She told me that she'd received many calls regarding these hang ups.
Hope this helps someone else save all of the hassle and wasted time.
