Invasion of Privacy! Knock it off, CMI. I already called back and explained that we are not the party they are looking for. Same story. Calling early on Sunday morning. I think a family member is in distress................They interupt my morning with this harassment. Somebody stop them.

** if you receive a call within minutes of this toll free number from an unrecognized number in your area code that is likely Credit Management Inc. spoofing caller id to probe your number. With whitelisting this 'technique' fails because ONLY YOU control your whitelist. **

There are several hardware callerid boxes you can buy to achieve whitelisting although ineffective. Asterisk is the most effective. Viatalk.com is the easiest way to block calls by number OR callerid name

This is a number used by a debt collector (Credit Management Inc.).

LOOK OUT: they use callerid SPOOFING

Remind them they are in violation of the Telecommunications Act, calling without the intent to communicate, if they call and do not leave a voice message.
