(800) 416-1472 Phone Call Reports

This was not a phone, this was a certified letter, two, one in my name and one in my husbands name. I had to sign for them. I says we are over $2,000. past due payments. Not true. we are current. It comes from WF, Temecula, CA, They tell us to call 800 569 4287.

18004161472 they called my husband asking for a credit card to make a payment or partial payment on the mortgage, my husband called me on the other phone to ask me when i made the payment and that wells fargo was calling, we are in the process of a loan modification therefore i had a number a extension and a name of a wells fargo rep when my husband ask the rep to give him an extension she told him there is no extension number just to call the 1800 number and make a payment. yes you call the number and its a exact same recording as wells fargo with couple of differences from the 1866 number on the statement and by fact i know you cannot make partial payments on the phone, and when you are on a loan modification process your call gets forward atomatically to that department. btw the call was recevied at 830 est on a sat wells fargo its close at that time. so scam or not in my case it was a pishing call!!!

this phone number pretends to be wells fargo and know some personal information

It is a Wells Fargo Number. the other is 480 518-9000 among others. It's actually from Loss Mitigation. Loan mods. Try not to screw people out of help just b/c you are to proud or stupid to attempt a Loan Modification.

If it is a real number than why would WF have someone drive up in a car and hand a very unprofessional piece of paper to me and tell me to call this number. I called the number and told them to send me the request in writing from WF. Dial tone......
