I get the same call, i actually owe verizon wireless past due money on an account and the call is from a collection agency. sometimes old phone numbers roll over so when you get new service, you may be getting somebodies old cell number from a couple years ago thus making you the contact for the collection agency.

We have 15 lines at our company and this Tom West calls on all lines several times a day and then gets the machine at night. They want you to call back. It is a scam. We just hang up when "Tom West" calls. I am sick of hearing him!!

I've been getting these calls for at least a month "This is Tom West calling, I have a very important business matter to discuss with you. For resolution call (800) 261-2867 ". I suggest if you want them to stop to actually call them. They were looking for someone other than me. They told me they would take my number out of their call system effective immediately.
If your actually in debt and they are looking for you, tell them to stop per the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

How do you stop this auto call crap from Tom West. I'm unlisted, I'm on every do not call list known on the web I have reported them and this Jack Ass still is calling. I do not even have anything to do with Verizon. the person who is at 1800-261-2867 does not speak English, or at lest well enough for me to understand them. jAll I could understand was it had something to with Verizon. they hung up on me when I told them to take my name off their call list. this is some sort of scam.

Prerecorded message calls about twice per day for the last month stating "Tom West caling. I have a very important business matter to discuss with you. Call 800 261 2867 "
I have reported many times to the do not call register complaint, but does not stop calls.

Call almost every day, sometimes twice. Caller ID says Unknown. We've had the same message from three people, one female, two male with the same voice but different names.
A "business proposition" requiring callback for "resolution". Are you kidding!?
