Don't answer the calls. Meredian is a scam. Located in Costa Mesa, California. Loan mods and refinances. They take up front fees and you never hear from them again.

We were woken up at 4:55AM this morning by a caller from this number. when I answered there was no one there!! Who do we complain to???

SO I got this call this morning and i am tired of these calls. Same as all the others if you call the number back it says that the number is not established. in searching this number and the complaints that are there it seems to be tied to Meridian financial. So I called the 1-800-540-1288 and talked to a guy named Pete. So he gives me the refi pitch and says that they are legit and the numbers are added manually and may have been misdialed. Well whatever the excuse, from the amount of errors that they make we know that it is a scam and BS. So if I can call this number why can't they be stopped. I would think that one could follow that number down the wire to some guy named Pete holding this phone in his hand and rip his head off. Why can't the authorities do this?????

The call occured at 06:22 the morining of Tuesday 17 November 2009. Saw ID, did not answer, no message was left. We are on the no call list, however, doesn't seem to work in this case.

The do not call list only work for people that WANT to comply. They only enforce big companies that break the rules. They are easy to track and get money from. The one that are illegal don't care about breaking the law because they are all a scam anyway. I think that it is the job of the FTC, FCC, the phone company and Homeland Security to do something about this. They have the resources to do it but don't??

Got a call from them at 11:45am but when I answered, no one responded! I hung up, but we are on the DNC list and we don't want calls like this! I looked the number up and it said Meridian Financing...I called them back to make sure that they never happened again and they said they are not in Violation of FCC. They need to be shut down!!!
