Yes. I just got a text from that number, as well. I'm also trying to sell a laptop - in New Jersey, rather than California, though. Good thing I decided to look up that number. Now I'm aware of this being a possible scam before I make an effort to sell it to this person. Well, whether these claims are true, or not. I'll still believe what is being said here, since my posting is on Craigslist and I already don't trust that site much - and here's to why! lol.

YES I JUST GOT THE SAME!!!!

I was trying to sell a laptop in California and I got a text from this number. They claimed to be an elderly lady with a grandson who is stationed with the Marine Corps in Nigeria. I wanted me set-up a Paypal account to handle the money transaction of the deal. My account, according to them, was over-paid by $1,200 and they wanted me to Western Union the difference. I called Paypal to speak to them and they told me this was 100% a SCAM! BEWARE and avoid at all costs!
