I received a call from Edward Walker and fax to my job stating that I owe CashUSA. I asked when was funds received and the amount. He told me $300 and now I owe $537 due to fees. He told me to provide my bank information to pay in full and send a copy of my driver’s license to finalize the account. I asked could he send me the documents that I supposedly got the money but he did not send anything to me because he wanted all of my information first. He even went as far as to tell me to get a Green Dot card to pay the money. Really? When I hung up I immediately called my bank to verify that $300 from CashUSA was never deposited into my account in November 2010 so he said. The customer service rep looked at statements for the year or 2010 and did not locate a $300 deposit. I had thought about getting the Green Dot card and paying this until I verified it. The affidavit does intimidate you but don’t let it check into it first. If I had owed this money most companies will forward a letter to your home. I really feel that this is a SCAM.

Mr. Edward Walker called my cell number and my work number repeatedly, and harasses me about some payday loan. I have never solicited this from him or his alleged company, American Legal Authority. I have filed complaints with the BBB, FTC and the Internet Crime Complaint Center, and as fraud alerts with the credit agencies. I have also notified my bank. He dared me to call an attorney!

I got a call from an edward walker i took out a couple payday loans to pay for school well when you apply online your information goes to payday loan companies that are scams so they have all your information and they will most likely call you at your job and not your cell phone so i am not applying for anymore loans and im hoping that they stop calling just beware and do not pay them anything i have also complained to them and tried suing them also.

I received a call from a person by the name of Mr. Edward Walker. He said that I had committed a criminal charge, I asked what was the charge. He said that I took out a payday loan, from Cashusa, for $300, and they tried to withdraw the funds from my account back in my, and they did not get them. First off, I never took out a $300 loan from Cashusa. They called and harrassed my two children, son, and daughter, now my kids wont' talk to me. I called Mr. Walker back, and asked him for his fax number, which is 1-206-426-5170., and told him he would be hearing from my attorney. I have a printout of my bank statement, where I never even received a payday loan from this company. No funds were even drawn on my acct, nor was there any deposit. I do not know where he got all my information. but I did take out a few loans, and paid them back except for two, which will be paid next week. These people are SCAMMERS. AND I PLAN TO SUE THEM. INDIAN ACCENT.

I had a call from this person and they sais very nasty things to me. i hung up and threatened him with a lawsuit.

I received a call from a male with an Indian accent today. He was reading from a script and said this was regarding a PayDay loan I took out in January 2010 that was not paid back. I told him that I did not take out such a loan. He said that criminal charges were going to be charged against me if I did not pay it back. He confirmed the last 4 numbers of my social security number, my bank and my mailing address. I told him if this took place to please send it to the address you have on file and I would have my attorney look into it. I then hung up. Even though the phone number on caller ID is from the US, it sounded like he might have been overseas.
