Calls from John Stark (507-345-5596 ) October 10th on both my Verizon Wireless number, and other numbers whom I have called from that phone.
Verizon Wireless seems to be the key...as someone (ex-employee?) may have sold/distributed the call logs from my cell phone to a telemarketing company(s).
Telemarketing firms also have the capability to 'fake' caller ID names/numbers...so they are not really phoning from 507-345-5596 and are not John Starke.
The real John Starke must be really bummed!
Anyone else using Verizon?

I got the call from 507-345-5596 a few minutes ago. About 7:00 p.m. Eastern. Nobody was on the other end apparently.

Yeah me too, I have Verizon and I am looking this number up now 10/14/08.. Just received the call about 12:55 PT and I have had verizon for 6 years now.. wierd

Yes, I'm Verizon too. I'm filing a complaint with Verizon as well. I just got the call on my cell 10/14 @ 2:30pm EST.

I just recieved a call from this number about 10 minutes ago but when I said "hello" nobody replied, then I tried to call back and got the disconnected phone message.

I got a call from 507-345-5596 several times, for a extend warranty for a car that we don't even own anymore... from who tose get the numbers...Unbeliable.

i have two differnt phones one at&t and one verizon
i missed a call from "john" on my at &t phone could not call it back ... then with in minutes i missed a call from " john" again on my verizon phone .... only my boyfriend and one friend knows my at&t number .... its scary that he could call both phones ......

I had a call from 507-345-5596 . I didn't get to answer this call but I was wondering if this John Starke person is one of the preditor trying to reach a child by chance. I just saw the news today about preditor by cell phones so this just me wonder. Is there anyway you can report this number to the authority?

You can report these phone calls to your local police department and the FCC. Be sure to mention to them this website so that they can see other comments from other people experiencing the same harrassment!

Have been getting these calls on land line and recently cell phone. This is not a legitimate company. This is someone who works for or used to work for a telemarketing or cellular company and knows specifically who they're calling. They identify telephone numbers that are not in service and use a telephone spoofing device to disguise the actual number they're calling from so that you can't tell what number they're actually calling from. This person is a demented loser who has nothing better to do but call people's numbers all day and harass and hang up.

Yeah I got a all about this myself, I was in a busy area and didn't really hear much, but the message sounded pissed, and said something about something expiring, so I hit 1a, but it just d/ced me. Thinking it might be someting important, I googled the number, and found this, for which I am glad

This number called (Like ten minutes ago?), I didn't answer since I didn't recognize the area code. Googled, came up with John Starke from Minnesota. First I thought he was some runner (as a google search result yielded from the same area), but came across this page, and another similiar page like this, and it probably was the solicitor. Caller didn't leave a message
Someone's been busy! Crazy how many people Google numbers they dont know, I wasn't aware there were sites like this, haha

I have received calls from this number on my house phone (a cable service line) for the last 4 months about a "2nd notice about my expired vehicle warranty." I do not have nor ever had vehicle warranties. Just today, I received a call from the same number on my ATT/Cingular wireless cell phone but they didn't leave a message. This is crazy!!

Got a call from them today about expired auto warranty. I've been getting calls from them about the same thing for months on my T-Mobile phone and the ATT landline. I think this is the first time a number appeared on caller ID.
Since my auto warranty actually expired I figured my car dealer could have sold my name but it seems like a coincidence.

What if the deal is that we call and then we leave information on this website. I got a call from this guy, I am not so paranoid or such a conspiracy type that I think ths website is on it. If it is any help, I have Verizon yes, but not as a wireless service for phone and internet. I did not answer my phone.

actually my car insurance just expired... I didn't pay my bill, I think this is an automated "reminder" service. I forget which car insurance company I use, but I usually get this call every few months... usually when I stop paying my car insurance. Maybe it's related, not sure, but I never answer my phone anyways, so I'll never really know for sure...
