Another call from Card Holder Services...longer than usual setup message..but still trying to scam people based on lowering credit card interest rates. ALL they want is your name, your info and your credit card numbers.... Do you see a problem here? I do! That's why I always press 1 to talk to someone....then I blast them in the ear with my coach's whistle! Let's end all calls like this by doing the same!

Called two days ago on one cell phone. Called today as blocked number and called both my cell phones. All phones are on no call list. I have an issue with WHO is selling cell phone numbers to solicitors.

Well, aren't we all in for a little luck! I began doing some research on this number...according to my research, Global Crossing Local Services, Inc. is the carrier. I filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (877-382-4357). The FTC wanted to know if my number was registered with the National Do Not Call Registry (888-382-1222 or www.donotcall.gov). The FTC employee also suggested I send the company a "Cease Communications" letter, telling them not to contact me at any of my phone numbers, and to send the letter in certified mail, return receipt requested. He suggested I do an online search for their contact info. I did (http://www.dleg.state.mi.us/bcs_corp/sr_corp.asp). Fortunately for all of us, I am only-too-happy to share it with all of the other people their calls have been harassing! This is the same credit card message I have received at home. An offer to lower the rates that are paid on credit card interest. The person indicates that you should press 1 to speak to a representative. I did and asked where this organization got my phone number. She said that she did not have my telephone number and that I called her. I said that it was a sad day when bottom feeders like her organization were stooping to such methods to recruit clients. If this is not illegal - it should be. Both my home phone and cell phone numbers are no call lists.

I got call on my cell phone and looking for other person. before I got 503-403-2675 calling into my office looking for different person too. I thought they are from the same and want to talk to them, ask them to stop the calling. I press 1 and a men talked something I don't understand. I then asked what he is talking about. He hang up. I called back, no sound at all. Is that related to any identity thief?

503-563-0989 - Also 205-213-0115 - Same as others, it's the old Credit Card Phishing Scam. Message states "Hello, this is Rachel from Cardholder Services. We're calling to inform you about an issue with your credit card. There is no problems with your card, but we wanted to notify you that you now qualify for a lower interest rate. Please press 1 to speak with a live representative to lower your credit card interest rate now!" or some such crap like that. They've called our house before in the past with various numbers, but this time the call came in on my CELL PHONE. Let's look over our illegal activities checklist, shall we? Pre-Recorded Message? Check. Unsolicited Phone Call? Check. No Opt-Out option offered? Check. Using an Auto-Dialer? Check. Spoofing the company name and/or number? Check. Caller left no message. When I called back it was an invalid number. Who Called has reports stating that this is a credit card SCAM.
