Got 2 calls from these guys saying I'm being charged with a crime & wanted my attorney info...IDIOTS!

I have been recieving calls from this number and they also claim to be the state attorneys office and that they have a law suit against me due to the face that i suposibly took out a payday loan and now they want me to pay it back. I never recieved any money but the scary thing is they have all my information.. ITS A TOTAL SCAM...

SCAM...they have already called me twice with the same story as many of the other posts above...if i knew who they were i would beat their face in.

They called my job and I called back minutes later only to discover that this was the same call my bestfriend got last week. It's so sad how peoole try to get your money. Do we really look that dum?

they call and us American names and say u owe money for payday loans u never got and call over and over and then say its law suit. scaming for money

They keep calling and leaving messages all throughout the day claiming I owe money on a payday loan I never took out. They told me that I had three criminal charges pending against me for non-payment. They also said they were from the State Attorney's Office in California. When I started asking questions, I was transferred. I asked to be sent a notice in the mail and when they refused I hung up.

They call tell me they from some law off and am being sued

received several calls from yesterday from 4158529546 saying that they are from the state attorneys office and i took out a pay day loan and did not pay it back. there are several allegations against my name and ss #.they always use an american name there are so many i keep forgetting them. These people will call for a week and then stop and start back and constantly harress you.

scammers , they say there is a lawsuit against your name and your social security # then they tell you their name which they use a american name, - mark hall, james milano, dean marshall. these guys are idiots, i had my fun with them, kept them on the phone long enough and pissed them off and the guy gave me his location, he's definitely calling from Pakistan. i'll post these 2 recordings on youtube when i get chance so everyone can get a good laugh, they are so easily provoked.

They called several times and stated that there was a lawsuit being filed and they gave me several names at different times. They said it was from some payday loan site and that I stole money . All of them cannot speak good english. When I asked about their company they hung up.

they called several times stating a lawsuite was against me. and I needed to called them or they was going to send an officer to mu house. good luck with that.

called saying I am going to be sued unless i payed money and they almost got me too until i thought about it if it was a real attorney office they would not blow your phone up and i would have received something from a local law firm not somewhere in california!!!

This appears to be a legal scam claiming to be calling from a States Attorneys office, but the call originates from Palo Alto, California. They all have very thick Indian or Nigerian accents and claim to have several criminal counts against the person they are calling. The chilling fact is that they have a lot of personal information including SSN, address, etc. I have reported them to the Federal Trade Commission, Consumer Affairs more than once. They are insidious and very rude using bad language to get their point across.
