He told me he's calling from rogers and will give me an ipod and 2 shirts for free so I told hhim the code! I'm so dumb! Who is this asshole? WhAt does he do with the codes?

They keep calling me and leaving me voice mail messages with a code. It's computerized. I try to block the number but they keep getting through.

I just left an ad on criagslist under beauty and I guess I must be getting harassing calls fortunately I missed the caller and so now I have a record of this California phone number, Belvedere, CA

My husband and i placed an add for a car in craiglist and not long after the number 415 3660260 called my husbands phone to ask for someone and my husband said he thought it was a wrong number asking for someone, but when i tried to call all day today its always busy.. also i got a call 730 this morning from and unknown number. we are in phoenix and what is up with this number and the scams? its our first listing on craiglist. We also got an email asking if we still had it when i wrote back the email was non delivery, the email is gtukarzkz1@yahoo.com says his name is jesus but who knows,,, This is all very creepy and wierd..

automated service call verifying ad on cl -it is legite at least in my area code-314- i get the call multiple times a week when placing certain cl category ads so that the phone number i enter can be erified-if you do not accept the call and do not place the verification numbers on the ad-you cannot place your ad. at least in 314 area code. may be something different for other area codes. NOT A SCAM IN 314 area code. thanks-phil st.louis

this is a craiglist scammer... Danger.. get there address & i'll take them out...

Received calls on my phone from 415-366-0260 after placing ad in craigslist but was unable to answer because I am deaf (my phone is only used for text messages). The strange part was the phone number in the Craigslist ad was for my wife's phone and not mine and she didn't receive any calls from that number. The only time my number was used in Craigslist was to receive the verification code from them. I am curious how this scammer got my number when it did not appear in the ad.

This is the phone number that appeared on my Caller ID when I placed an ad on Craigslist. It is to verify that I was the one relisting the ad. It was automated and gave me a five digit number to insert so that my ad would post. I entered the number and the ad posted. Not a scam as far as I know.

Total scam. To guys with Indian accents claiming to be Jason and Kevin Fernandez trying to get me to confirm a number. Said they were with the Federal Communication Commission wanting to confirm my number on the do not call list. Funny thing is that the FCC is American and I live in Canada.

As soon as I placed an add to sale some tires and rims I got this weird call. I missed the call but when I tried to call back it was constantly busy. I am sure that it is a scam from an person who has nothing else to do.

Any business that calls and does not leave a message on voicemail is not a reputable business in my opinion. The person from this number is obviously up to something and that something is, no good.

Got that same call from a guy with an Indian accent saying that my restaurant will have a special health inspection due to complaints. had another call with the automated code. I guess i wrote down the code incorrectly because we had to do this all over again. finally, he scheduled the inspection for the following monday. the suspicious thing was that the call came in on friday at 9pm. the odd thing is that we are actually expecting an inspection and when i asked him questions about the nyc health department, he knew the answers. i wanna shoot this guy!

The call is from a heavy accent Indian guy saying from Ga Health Dept sending inspectors to my restaurant. He asked for cell numbers to send 5 digits code to be verified. I was stupid enough to give him the numbers. What would he do with the numbers? and whom to report this call to?

I was sucked in to putting my number in after responding to a criagslist ad!!!!

Got a call from this number today to my restaurant. Same story as the above posts. I figured someone was trying to change my place page on google, but now I know it was spammer harvesting phone numbers for spamming craigslist. I'd love to get a hold of one those little bastards. I wish I had answered the phone instead of the other owner (my wife). Luckily she ignored them and said if you want to come and inspect, then come on in. I'm busy and not writing down your stupid code...lol. I love my wife.
