When you answer and the caller talks to you, say you are "detective so-so" and want to know the caller's name. You want to know what connection he has with the "mudrder victim". You will want to meet him to get his formal police stsatement. That should get you off their call list !!!!!

These alleged "Call from Washington" telephone calls began a few days ago. There are periods when calls from this number can come every five minutes apart. I pick up and hang up. Sometimes I disconnect my telephone to abort the call, then plug the line back in. But no matter what I have tried -- including sceaming "Drop dead, you ***** (pick your own expletive) "they" - or "it" - just keep calling throughout the day. I have a sick child to care for. It is imperative that I keep my land-line free. Please advise.

Call at all hours, have last 4 of my credit card say they want to give you all this stuff. Have requested several times to be taken off list and not called again.

Do not call doesn't stop off shore calls. This scam must be working or they would quit. This is registered in the Portland, or area. Must be some way to report it to the provider of that number in Portland.
