I am getting tired of being called by these two numbers. They call everyday sometime 2-3 times a day. They don't leave a message. Both my husband and I have told them to stop calling. They have asked for our son multiple times. and multiple times we have told them that he doesn't live with us, and has not for years and we haven't seen him in along time. On one occasion they asked me if I would make a payment for my son's student loan from Alaska. I told them NO!! he is an adult you have his contact number in alaska you will have to get in touch with him.and if by chance he might call ever again, i will pass alon g the message to him to call them. is is some kind of a scam? Because I am really getting tired of talking to these people. they are rude! they wanted to knowmy husband's birthday which is NOT their business. and I said i have been married to him for 31years and he has never had a student loan through them! and the guy told me that unless i gave him my husband's birthdate to him to verify a number so he could se who the right person is, he told me they would continue to call me over and over again. I gave the birthdate and he said he isn't the person they are looking for. then why did they ask for my husband by name? I want these people to stop the harrassment and stop trying to get i nformation on us. can you do something about it please?

This is a collection agency. They will call all day until you answer. They are persistence for you to call back.

I think this is a collection agency for Sallie Mae or AES. Calls several times per day. I blocked them and they continue to call from another number with same area code

SAC 3175941043 calls several times a day for many uncounted days. Research shows this is a student loan collection agency. My husband and I don't have any student loans..we're retired.

We have been receiving a call every day (early to late afternoon) from this number and a recording states: "Please stay on the line for an important message for your telephone number". We hang up immediately because the caller ID states "Outbound Only". Is there any possible way to stop this call from occurring?

Call us all day long...every day.. we dont have any student loans..we are on the dnc list as well...

The reason you can't get through on the 317 number when you return the call is because companies can't force you to call a number that may cost you money. The # they leave on the message should be an 800-562-2525. SAC is a company representing the Guarantor of student loans with Sallie Mae (NOT Fannie Mae or Freddic Mac as some people think), Citibank, Wells Fargo, etc etc. The representatives at Student Assistance do not need a payment to get you up to date, they have other tools provided by the government and your lender, providing you havn't exhausted everything, in which case they have contact #'s to get you up to date. Do not avoid this call. Student loans are federal debts, and can be garnished for repayment should they default. The good news is if SAC is calling you, you aren't in collections yet.
