they called em today three times saying they are from eec and we are happy to tell you that you have been overcharged on loan insurance and i am entitled to a pay out. the first time i told them i did not have any loans and its impossible but the third time i answered asking for the website address. i could not understand the bad and sounded like a put on indian accent so i asked to speak to a supervisor. he guy laughed and said tehir are no supervisors. i struggled to get the website and when i git it it was a false site. i told him it does not exist and he laughed saying we are trying to scam you why would we have a website and laughed real evilish down the phone and hung up. he said the website was www.wathappendapple.com he said it was inpossible to be removed from the data base. how can we stop these scams calling our homes.

I can't provide too many details but we have received two (2) calls from this number. The first a few week ago. A guy with an Inidan accent said that our computer had a virus. I could not understand MOST of what he said. Received another call today (8-31-2012) but did not answer it. DO NOT DO ANYTHING they ask!!! He wanted to remotely control my computer...ain't happening my friend! You can easily tell that this is a scam because he / they are so vauge as far as what company they are from, etc. etc.

this number keeps calling me. i have never answered though. but now i see other people have had issues with the same number

I received a call from this number. The person on the phone said that if I do not give them my personal bank account number, there will be terrorist attacks in my city. I am reporting this to the FBI. I recommend anyone receiving calls of this nature to do the same.

scam call from people that wanted me to follow some step by step instructions from them in order to rid me of viruses supposedly they knew i had on my computers

I have recieved over the last few months 4 calls from a guy with an indian accent, telling me that he is able log on to my computer and i have many viruses. I got him talking for a while as i knew he was a fraud and then i told him i didnt even own a computer. This made him mad and he said why you waste my time and he hung up. Today i got a call again and i asked many questions until another guy came on the phone, he was insisting my Windows operating system had corrupt files and i should go to my computer so he can help me resolve this issue. Usually it shows up private number, but today they called me 3 times and one time the number came up as 1 217 398-9755. I finally asked the guy for his number and i will call him back and then i said i will call the 217 number he call me at, he hung up... What a joke these guys are!

person called our home number with the message that our computer is about to crush. he asked us to turn it on right away. claimed that he's calling from windows repair centre. strong indian accent. He's name - mallick. I now microsoft doesn't call people to fix their computers. when asked for his number he immedietelly disconnected, but we have this number on display. i've tried to call it from other line but got message, that this number was disconnected". for sure spam. God knows what they can get from your computer if you follow and do what you're asked to.
