111-048-4000 my husband keeps getting texts from this number also, and something called wap.cingular and it sometimes is at odd times in the morning hours like 12am and 3 am. I called At&t but they said he would be connecting to the internet from his blackjack at 3:48am it wouldn't do it by itself however there is hardly any KB's used. I have noticed online people saying that their phones are connecting by themselves...is this possible? I send him IM's and it also comes up as a 111 044 number and that is from our home number.

This sounds like a Yahoo Internet Messenger sending a text message to a cell phone when my friends use yahoo to semi a text to phone it comes up as an example 111044****

when my husband had these on our bill att&t said they were error messages...im not sure if i still believe that but anyways...meaning he tried to send a message and he couldnt and thats what comes up on the bill???

i have been doing background on this and it seems AT&T is at fault. I have been about to leave my husband b/c there is noone he should be contacting at 3am or 5am and to my knowledge he is sleeping, actually snoring. SOOO I searched At&T for wap.cingular and there is all kinds of discrepencies on there and googled it tooo. I'm beginning to think the ol' guy isn't a cheater!

Oh yeah....and it will show up if they send a multimedia mess. that is too large it will send it with your email provider or something to that extent, that's why he's been sending wap.cingular during the day.

I would like to know where this is coming from. my girlfriend has linked it to a porn site and I keep telling her that i did not do it. She is breaking up with me not mainly b/c of the porn, but b/c of me lieing, but I am not lieing. To her its clear as day and I guess thats the way it looks, but I am not sending or receiving any of these. Can anyone help me out?

this is a email sent to a cell as a text. it can be replyed to from a cell back to a computer also. try to email your phone as a text and see. the numbers might be a little off. if you look at old bills, it shows up as a text to your own number. see it there is sent and recieved with this number. me and a girl use it so she can text me when she is on her computer and her husband can't trace it.

wap.cingular Texts on your bill are auto sent downloads from your cellular carrier. 111-048-4000 I found out is a picture text. Sometimes it doesnt register on your bill as the number sent from or sent to.... it shows as this 111-048-4000 . I have also seen it show this way when I look at my online bill, but then a few days later it may show as the actual number the picture text was sent to or from.

Just talked to AT&T customer care because it was showing up on my bill. That is a code that tells them that the message is being sent through the internet as a picture message instead of a text message. I was told to delete my messages to solve the problem, and it worked.

I haven't actually seen any text from this number, however, it does keep showing up on my bill!!!
