This is how I solved it on my (Samsung) cell phone:
1. Go into Contacts
2. Press Add New Contact
3. Type in a name like Zdnc (= do not call) (Z to get it last on your list)
4. Type in the phone number of the annoying caller
5. In Ringtone (in this entry) set Contact Tone to No Ring
6. Save it.
My phone will be silent when they call again.

I have no idea how they have got my number, but I have been receiving 4-6 calls a day for over a week! It's driving me crazy! I have sent AIG an e-mail threatening legal action for harassment if these calls do not cease by the end of the week! Ha! Will let you know if it works!

This company has been calling on and off for some weeks then I found this site. We got calls from 08000927203 and 08000927206 as well. Sometimes they said they were AXA and sometimes AIG. My boyfriend got one from the RAC. Now we know they are all from this Telegen call centre we are going to complain to Ofcom. Anyone joining us? We can't believe just how many complaints there are on this site about just one call centre!

Yeah, the same with healthcare, they say I was on their website for some reason, but I don't know about it. Told them to call later so we'll see what they have to say.

i also have no idea how they have got my number the 08000927204 alss most days around lunchtime and i have now started getting another caller whose number is with held that hangs up soon after answering. i have recntly entered online competitions which somone else has mentioned so maybe that is how they get our numbers.i would definatley stay away from those competitions because you never win and look at all the hassle we end up with!

Just recently this number started calling me out of the blue. It would ring almost every hour and quite quickly that i cant answer it. Finally i decided to answer the call the other day and the person on the phone knew my name and told me that she's calling about my free pension scheme that she's sending me but i cut her off and said i couldnt talk as i was making my way home. To be honest i dont trust it. Why call my mobile, where on earth did this "pension scheme company" get my no. from and there's always a catch. I'm guessing i've been changed for just answering the call. They still call but i'm cutting them off. My advice... dont pick up the call!!!

They hae been continuously ringing me, I answered the first time and they said they were AXA Sunlife, which is a health insurance company that I had actually heard of, but the woman said I had "signed up online" and read out my home address, email address and full name!! They won't stop ringing and I have no idea where they got my details from because I definately did not sign up to it!!

Yup, same as others, they started calling yesterday.Had similar problems with 08000524264 (hangup on answer, & calling two or three times a day for several weeks) which turned out to be Admiral group of insurance companies. Some how these pests have got my number, suspect it might be a typo from someone else filling out some online quote request form, as I never give out my number to commercial entities and I'm registered with TPS...I've no idea how to get removed from the auto-dialler list. :-(Guess I'll just have to add it to the "Drop" name in my phone book (caller group "Silent") and put up with it for a few weeks.

They've been calling for a few weeks now. I haven't answered once as I'm suspicious when I don't recognize the number. At first they were calling everyday (it can be either in the evening or at lunch time), now it's not as frequent but they still call at least twice a week. I thought they would have got tired by now...

Well I never did!, yet another number that keeps ringing my mobile all the time, I've only just got 08009121695 to stop ringing, simply by not picking up. And now i'm getting this one now. I intend to do the same with this number, I know it's hard but just dont ever answer it. They do get fed up.....honest! It took me months but eventually they stop. My advice is to write the number down or memorise it, when you get so many calls, you remember it anyway! DONT ANSWER IT, THEY WILL GET FED UP.
