The New York Better Business Bureau is warning consumers about Robocalls which promise to lower credit card debt and reduce or eliminate payments. Appeals Court rules Text Messages covered by Anti-Telemarketing Laws
TechDirt reported today that the 9th Circuit Appeals Court has ruled that unsolicited text messages to mobile telephones are indeed covered by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).

AT&T Mobilities Sues Over Car Warranty Robocalls
The Consumerist has reported that AT&T Mobility is has filed a lawsuit in Federal Court to learn who is behind automated telephone calls to AT&T subscribers. AT&T claimes that the telephone number 800-219-7425 is behind over 13 million telephone calls to AT&T subscribers.

FTC accuses Dish Network of violating Do Not Call laws
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) filed a lawsuit against Dish Network this morning for allegedly violating the Federal Do Not Call laws by calling consumers who are on the registry.
