They are a bottom feeding debt collection company, they buy old old old debts and try to collect on them, because if they can get just one or two people a day to admit they owe this debt, then they can collect on it. They are trying to contact me over something from 12 years ago. The statute of limitations has run out on this debt, but if I admit it or make payments, they can find a loophole to start it all over again. Here is a link that explains all about CRA (one of apparently many names they use) and what to do when contacted by them.
They ask you to hold on that they have an important call for this number -- but never say who they are or who hey want to talk to! I do not take those calls but hang up asap.
I suppose the soulless beings doing these types of jobs suffer from an inferiority complex, among a myriad of other serious psychological issues, and actually experience pleasure with themselves and their immature and illegal hijinx. This particular fecal specimen used a slurred and unintelligible "name" and in his most macho voice informed me,"at this point, it is very important that I speak with you immediately." Calling from a cellular phone while driving, neglecting to inform a person what company you represent and the reason for your call, and leaving a cryptic and rude message will probably not garner a high percentage of call backs. I suggest that you try your hand at the property repossession business, as there are plenty of douchebags, such as yourself, that would love to play "pretend authority figure" with you. As I'm sure you already have the requisite tribal arm band tattoo, cheap sunglasses with red lenses, and have squeezed your gut into a pizza stained wife beater, you'll only have to buy the bear purposed pepper spray to deal with the misrepresented and angry people you attempt to deal with. (You can save your allowance for the backwards Nascar hat and have to wait for the poorly groomed goattee.) Sadly though, you will have to actually face these people, at least some of the time, so prepare to have your tough guy image tested. So for now, keep cold calling faceless numbers and playing your reindeer games. But keep in mind that once your mother kicks you out of the basement because of the reeking cat piss smell emanating from the padlocked door, you will have to find a job that pays in money, not Schlitz. Keep up the good work scumbag, you're making the debt collection underworld proud.
Calls everday with a different number. I never answer the phone, but always look it up and it is always CRA. This is total harrassment. They NEVER leave a message, and am sick of them calling my cell phone.
keep getting calls from this number. No one on the line, quite annoying and this all started after registering for google.com home business. Be very careful who you sign up with, never mind if the names of the company is reputable. There are actual idots out there!!!
Not sure but probably a collection agency. Number is from Anderson, SC. Called - obviously from a business - looking for a certain person but didn't mention their business name. Sure sign it's a collection call.
