Advanced Physicians Group is a company has a terrible reputation for perpetuating fraud. They run a chain of factory style physical therapy clinics in the Chicagoland area. Advanced Physicians Group hires kids in high school to dress up in scrubs and perform the therapy on patients after receiving minimal on-the-job training while a low-salaried doctor directs traffic and the owners rake in millions by billing insurance companies. Advanced Physicians Group hires MD's that sign off of Medicare treatments they weren't even present for.
Every time they get flagged by a major health insurance carrier for improper billing practices, they simply register a new corporation with a slight permutation in their name "Advanced Physicians Physical Therapy", etc. to bypass detection of fraud.
On top of that, Advanced Physicians Group routinely violates labor laws by not paying overtime to their employees. If an employee works more than 40 hours a week, they take the extra hours and list it on the pay-stub as a "bonus" without paying time and a half as they are required to by law. Their employees don't speak up because they live in fear of the owners. It is a shame because the owners are wealthy and greedy beyond belief, yet they willfully engage in criminal activity to cheat their hard-working employees out of wages. Advanced Physicians Group is a criminal enterprise owned and operated by Dana Vallandigham-Carter and Richard Vallandigham... a belligerent sister and brother partnership of yet-to-be indited criminals based in Burr Ridge, Illinois that flagrantly violate the law at whim.
Their telemarketing machine still calls my house after my repeated requests that they stop.
Guy called representing Ziff-Davis, asking to sign me up for a free e-seminar. They had an email address for me that was consistent with one that I use when signing up for free magazine subscriptions. I assume that this number is a call center for hire for various campaigns.
Call me today, 1524, 09Oct09, representing "Web Buyer's Guide." Refused to give me the name of the owner of the call center, including a supervisor to whom I talked. Polite, patient, and didn't hang up on my no matter how nasty I became. I'm on the DNC list, and I made my report that will be no earthly good, since latest reports show that the DNC does nothing.
The "Web Buyer's Guide" on line looks like a big company, so don't know where the legitimacy is in all of this.

this number called me and it was a recording. the recording said something like if i was the authorized business handler, keep listening. and then it said that if i wanted to be removed, please call 1888-400-6028
These guys are fishing for information. Do not give them anything!
I just got a call with this phone number and ask to talk to
one of our VP so they can renew some magazine.
I put them on hold in in seconds they hanged up.
I noticed that I get a lot of call s on Friday from these kind
of people.
They will take their phone off of the hook for a long time if you bother them enough. Anyone receiving calls from this number: return fire! Maybe we can get them shut down or at least shut up and paranoid.
I believe their company to be called "PaeTec Communications." I received this information from 'Danny' at Level 3 Communications Technical Support @ http://www.level3.com/index.cfm?pageID=236 . He looked up the number. Here is the report I made to the FTC:
Original Number of Calling Party: 815-506-4291
Organization: PaeTec Communications
Agent of Contact: Name Unintelligible
Contacting Agent upon Callback: Alice William(s)
Upon asking for the name of her employer, Alice indicated to me that she was not, in fact, employed, but that "This is just a switchboard sir for outgoing calls that caters to various organizations." When I asked Alice to agree or disagree with the statement that she "Alice Williams, [is] employed," Alice refused and disconnected. Upon calling back I heard a pre-recorded "All circuts are busy" for approximately an hour. I then used the website "WhitePages(dot)com" to do a reverse lookup which showed that the number was calling from Union, IL and was provided by "Level 3 Communications." I then contacted Level 3 Communications Technical Support at 1-877-4Level3 (1-877-453-8353).
Contacting Agent at Level 3 Communications Technical Support: 'Danny'
Danny politely inclined to look up 815-506-4291 in his records and provided me with the name PaeTec Communications, and explained that he would transfer me to their fraud/suspicious activity line (@ 720-888-0012 ) so that I could report the issue on 'their end' as well. I explained I was happy to simply make the report to the DNC-Registry, but if he would appreciate that extra gesture, I would be happy to oblige. He transferred me. That line said in its prompts that if I was not a Level 3 customer, I should not report abuse to them, but instead contact my provider. So be it. I will contact ------ at my leisure.
I am going to call her tomorrow and play a recording of someone else saying "As part of an ongoing Federal Compliance Test, this number is now being monitored by an agent #8294575."
Alice thought she would be cute when I called back to get information regarding the company to submit to the FCC.
1) I said "Hi, I received a call... who is this?"
"Sir this is a switchboard for outgoing calls that caters to various organizations"
ME: "But surely, this switchboard does not exist a priori; it must be operated by some organization"
"No sir, this is an outgoing switchboard for outgoing calls that....."
ME: "Who then issues you payment? You are paid, are you not?
"Yes sir."
ME: "Who makes the checks out to you, what does it say?"
"I'm not authorized...
ME: "As part of compliance to the FCC's Do-Not-Call Registry legislation, you are required to..."
- At this point I hear Alice whispering to someone in the background -
Just got a call from this number ( /4/27/2009 at 10:40 CST ). Nobody spoke. Called back to this number and got a automated voice msg " if you want to be removed from the call list please press #1". That's it nothing else.
I called back. This is a switchboard call center according to "Bill" who answered the phone. It is a group of companies according to him who call through this number. It is clearly a debit collector agency using this to verify your number and information. Or it is spam. Thanks to de-regulation from our government companies can do this to you! Complain and strike back! is all I can say!
