I was very offended when I wasn't comfortable giving out my friends or family phone numbers or my husbands work number and she kept harrassing me about giving her one of them. I don't even know how she got MY number to tell you the truth. I was going to take her up on her offer and then since i would not give her a phone number for my friends or family, she told me thanks for wasting her time. I will not apologize for that, because that is my friends and family's privacy.
They said that they bought this collection and this is the telephone number that was assigned to it. How they received this number is beyond me, as it is an unlisted cellphone.
For the 3rd time I received a text telling me to call a free(?) number and "follow instructions"...
Because I do not have a Chase account I ignored it but search over the Internet and found that it is a kind of fishing so if you receive this kind of text just ignore it. If you do business with Chase, I suggest you to call (the real) Chase and report it.
Received a text message telling me to call this number for free (that's a lie) to get an important message regarding my banking card. I don't have a chase account. Recording of a british accented woman asks you to enter your account # They are fishing for your personal information. BEWARE.
they asked for me, all I said was "who is calling?" and they hung up. I tried to redial them and get "all circuits are busy" these scammers make me sick. I wouldn't buy water from them in the desert
I just read everyone else's comments and mine is the same thing. I answered teh phone initially to tell them not to call me anymore and I got a recording to lower my interest rates on my credit cards. I don't have any credit cards anymore so this does not apply to me. So when it said to hit 9 to speak to a representative, a girl answered the phone, "thank you for calling, did you press 9 to lower your interest rates?" and very nicely I said, "no I pressed 9 to have you stop calling me", she hung up the phone on me so quick. So, I called the number on my caller ID 813-355-7202 and I got the same recording withe "F" bombs being dropped left and right. I will be contacting the Florida Attorney General on this one. Thank you, Boonie for the research and information. Hope one of you has luck with getting these con-artists to stop harrassing you. We're all in it together!!!
I was on the phone when someone called. After finishing my business, I called the number on my caller ID. It was phone number 813-355-7502 . A person or recording answered the phone and accused me of calling them all of the time. The voice sounded Vietnamese. This is some sort of prank call.
this caller from # 8133557202 called and left a stupid message on my phone ranting &raving, cusing me threating me calling me mf,sob, meeting threats on my life, this is the l0owest from of skum their is esppisly sceinse my granddaughter heard all of it this wetback clown needs to be sent back to scummy place he came from probaly illegale anyway with us supporting him any
These people keep calling, after the second "hello", they, in a automated voice, ask for me to hold for next available operator. Then after 3 seconds they disconnect. It has happened 3 times today, July 12, 2010, so far!!
http://www.myfloridalegal.com/ is the number of the Florida Attorney General. Besides filing a complaint with the FCC and Federal Do Not Call List, I filed a complaint with the State of Florida. The person who answered cannot speak clear English.
This stupid company calls me all the time... asking to lower my interest rate. I repeatedly ask them to stop calling... and I was nice about it this time when I got a girl on the phone... until she started gettng short with me. Saying since I am a visa/mastercard holder that I will receive the calls to lower my interest rate and I can stop the calls by cancelling my credit card accounts. I called her a few 4 letter words and she hung up on me. I called the number bacl (813)355-7202 and got the absolutely vulgar messege others have been speaking of above. Canb't Visa/Mastercard make this company stop?!?!?!?!?!
Have been called several times. Wife answered the phone and they asked to speak to me. Told I was not home and then they hung up. Do not even know what this company does.
I am on the do not call list.
Called the # back 813-355-7202 , before I called I found out the aera code was from Tampa Fla. It was a message saying that I was calling them and all the time making comments it hispanic, I feel for it and said stuff back to find out one more time , Icalled again the same thing it's a message.
So the only reson I called that # is that someone at another # was in Tampa thinkng that they might need help and was calling from this #, Like many If this number or any number that u don't know then DON"T call or answer.
i called this number back to see who it was that keeps calling my house and got the voice mail..it proceeded to cuss me out..what is wrong with people..have they nothing better to do than harass random unsuspecting respectable people?..
Went through this last fall asking them to take me off the calling list. They hang up on me. reported that number then this spring they used a new one saying the same recorded message only different name. "Hi this is Rachel and I am calling in reguards to your credit card account...." When I press 9 I am either disconnected or hung up on when I ask who this is or to take me off the calling list. The trick is that they keep using different cell numbers and call from different states. Before it was NY now FL. I am really tired of this.
Got a call from the number 813-355-7202 and was pitched a commercial about buying insurance.. I've asked this people to not call me and they still keep calling me.
I was hung up on after recieving an automated call and pressed 9 to speak to a human. When I informed "Stephanie" that I was not interested in lowering my intrest rates, but wanted my number removed from the calling list, I was promptly hung up on. If these scam artists were smart they would simply play along. I would have never thought that the company was illegitimate if she had politely made a few audiable keyboard strokes and told me the matter had been handled. I am thankful that I wasn't in need of their "services". I can only imagine what they would do with the info they recieve from the poor people who do.
We are an office, we do not have time for these calls. If they let the phone ring long enough for us to answer they ask for the owner, and I tell them he is not available and I can take a message they tell me there is no message and hang up. We do not know why they are calling, who they are, or even what kind of company this L&J Bay Area Holding company is.
They call often, once every day or so.
They should be investigated.
This company calls my house 10 to 20 times a day, every day, at all hours of the day, It rings one time and then they are gone. This has been going on for months. I am extremely frustrated that this company is allowed to continually harass me, at all hours of the day. My number is on the do not call list.
I was called by this number and they told me they were calling from my credit card company. I had recently been late a couple of payments due to being out of work for surgery but I had a payment plan set up with them. This number called and the caller identified herself as a representative of Salute Visa she asked me for my banking information and wanted to take a payment over the phone. I kept telling her that I had already spoken with the cc company and I wasn't giving her any information at all and that the caller id identified her as Anthony Hall. I told her that I had googled the number and found that it was a cell phone listing in tampa, fl and she assured me that she was calling from Salute, which isn't even in Tampa. I told her she would be reported and she hung up. But I get calls from them all the time now. Sometimes it says, Anthony Hall, or Tampa, Fl, and just recently it started saying Pai. WHATEVER U DO, DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY PRIVATE INFORMATION!!!
Sunday March 07, 2010 8:50 AM EST. YES this number 831-506-5700 is a number used via (ISP's) Internet phone service providers. Primarily, it is used by SKYPE. But I have seen other ISP's associated with this number. It is also a great mis-use channel for collection agency's who know they should not use this sort of non verifable calling system.
