This number called and only let it ring twice, so I could not answer, and the answering machine didn't pick up. Then I called it back. No one answered and it just rang and rang until it hung itself up. No name on the caller ID.
WARNING!!! I received a call from 801-823-2027 saying that they were taking a survey for Chase Bank about my last transaction at the bank. The peculiar part was that the person speaking had a foreign accent, probably routing his overseas calls to a land line in Ogden, UT to scam people. BEWARE!!! The bank will not call you out of the blue for any survey. If they are doing a survey you would be asked to participate after you placed a call to a Chase Bank
i too have been receiving calls from (801) 229-2252 for a week now. they never leave a message and call at all times. after doing a search and reading the huge number of complaints linked to this number as well as the variety of responses in describing the call, a few examples are cell phone related, confirmation of invitation, software related, order related or no human at the other end. i have also read several reports that when people have called the number back they get a "no longer in service" message. all this in combination with using an old circuit city number makes me think the caller or organization calling is a scam operation using a service similar to "spoof card" where they can enter in any number prior to calling and it will show on your caller id rather than the real number you are calling from. just my take but it makes sense. i just hope that they eventually stop calling as we cannot block out of state calls.
A male called from 801-229-2252 , asked for someone who didn't own my cell phone number. I told him that there was no one by that name here and he said that of course there was. I asked that he take my number off their call list. He said that he would not do that and that he would call me whenever he wanted.
I asked for a supervisor and he said that I could not talk to one and that he would never take my number off the list.
He was rude, obnoxious and his comments sounded like a threat. I am contacting the state attorney general's office.
Call numerous times throughout the day and do not leave a message. I googled them and it came up that people who were chase customers were receiving calls from this number, but that the number had nothing to do with Chase direct, they are survey takers. I am a chase customer, so maybe that's where they got my details from as my home number is listed as private.

WTF. . this number has called like 15 times in the last 4 hours, i called it back and get nothing, no operators and the option to remove from call list does not work
This number just started calling this morning - every 15 to 20 minutes. I called the number back - hit option #2 to be placed on their do not call list.......I am hoping this will work..
This phone number has called our house 24 times in 36 hours. I am very sure it is not a collection agency since we do not owe anyone anything that is past due.
they called me 21 times in a 24 hour perid. I do not think it is a collection agency. I think its something else, either way it is considered harrasement. The last time they called mne I yelled at them and siad they have called me every 30 min to an hour and to stop calling me, then I called them morons and they havent called back since.
Called 3 times from this number- they said they got my name and number from a survey for a work at home business they claimed I looked into on Google- I never did this- I told them to take me off their list- lets see if the actually do it....
They called me a few minutes ago. I couldn't understand the man and then he hung up on me. Also, I called it back and it said the number was unallocated. I don't want to have to deal with this google company. They have been calling me from other number too. I have no idea how they got my number
They called me 5 times after i hung up the phone what they dont tell you unless you ask is its 70 bucks a month after the 7 day trial for 1.97 clearly misleading information given to the consumer
