this number came up on my caller ID and when I answered it the person on the other end laughed (sounded like a woman's laugh) into the phone and hung up. Very rude.
Got a call this morning asking me to make a payment to them because it was late. They wanted $1900.00 immediately. I have never dealt with this complany before. I don't know why they had my cell phone number. They had the wrong middle initial of my name and the wrong last four digits of my social security number.
they call at least 5 to 6 times a day and never leave a message.they call as late as 8:30 and sometimes 9:pm at night.i have a small child.they shouldn't be allowed to call that late.

these morons continue to call after they were advised that our 26 year old daughter passed away in 2009. They sarcasticly advise us that the calls will continue. If they really want to speak to me about my daughter they should be bold enough to knock on my door. Real tough guys hiding behind a phone. better yet, Demerest , why don't you come over and represent them you AH.
called wanting information about income of an ex husband of my sister. Did not give any company identification, but I believe it is Bank Of America, after doing some research.
I installed Call Blocker because of this caller.
It is a computer dialer from Chase that calls when your account is in overdraft. I literally get 18 calls a day, 6 at a time within a minute, three different times of the day.
The calls are very disruptive and can cause depression. They call to my Cell phone AND my place of work. Both of which can ruin my train of thought and keep me from making the money that they want.
Unfortunately, even though the calls are on my blacklist, my phone still has a low beep every time which is still a reminder.
Sure, if you keep your account current, they would stop... but these are hard times and you do what you can.
The call was an "unknown" call. I got the caller to give me their company name and phone number and address:
EOCCA

The collection agency employee was calling about a disputed ATT cell phone bill which I partially paid after talking with them in January. Now they have new news: ATT says I still owe them! Oh really? And if I don't pay right now today, they will put a "refuse to pay" blemish on my mother's credit record since she co-signed the account.
I cancelled the account with ATT in October after months of talking with them on the phone and in person to solve my non-working phone problem, and they (ATT) told me the only way to solve the problem was to get another phone, which I finally did. With a different carrier. But they apparantly refused to accept it and didn't cancel my account when I told them to, and kept sending bills.
I called them to talk about it, but ironically never could get a real person to talk with me on the phone. So they sent the account to collections.
After months of hardly any service, after years of faulty service, (from ATT to Cingular and back again... I actually have bills going back to 2002 with the same account) and spending more time talking with ATT on my home phone than anyone on my cell... now they want every penny for months after I cancelled my account (plus collection fees) and had a new service, even after I already paid them for the months that the phone and service didn't work right. Who can I report them to for this?
My grandmother has been receiving calls from 800----------547-9054 at least 4 times a day for a week now from this number. I decided to find out why and called the number from my unlisted number.. I have never talked to anyone so rude and hateful on the phone. DAVE asked for the number that was called. I asked DAVE "what business are you calling from?" He very quickly told me to give him the number and he would give me an answer. I again said, "and who are you?" He informed me that they had my number already or they would'nt have called and that this call had just ended. HE HUNG UP ON ME!! No he DIDN"T have my number AND should never of had my grandmother's. She hasn't had any debts for over twenty years. This numer, company and DAVE should be strung up. I think the term "harasement" is an understatement for this kind of JERK
Thanks to all of you for your research, but I am hesitant to call "Mike" to have our number taken off the do not call list, because by doing so, they can say that I willingly gave them my number and they have the right to call me.
BUT however, the next time they do call, I will request then to speak to the supervisor to ask them to remove our number. Also, ALL of the proceeds of the donations should go directly to the foundation, and it SHOULD be run by volunteers that want to help and NOT make a buck!
Not a complaint (yet) just information.
The company name is EOS CCA. They are a debt collection company, not a scam. The company website is http://www.eos-cca.com . They use public records to find any associations that connect a person to a method of contact; an old address, old phone number, old cell number, old workplace, relatives, previous spouses, school class lists, Google searches, Facebook associations, tax records, business records, etc. They collect on everything from credit cards, medical bills, utility bills, parking tickets, taxes and government bills.
They are not bound by Do Not Call lists because they are not telemarketers - they are debt collectors.
By law, though, they cannot give out personal information about someone they are looking for. They can't say" I am looking for John Smith, social security number xxx-xx-xxxx, that owes $4,800 to Master card account number xxxxx." By the same token, you are not required to give out any of your personal info over the phone, either.
As for the rudeness of their customer service, think about it, it must be a miserable job, with people yelling at you, berating you all day, BSing and lying to you, calling you names. I think it would be very difficult to "Put a Smile in your voice" dealing with that all day. Its also a psychological tactic to wear down deadbeats that do owe money. For the people that are truly a 'wrong number' it is annoying.
A complaint to the Better Business Bureau would probably be more effective than calling the police or the DNC list.
Our Machine intercepted a call from someone at this number. They left a neutral voice message asking for a call back. The interesting thing is that they called asking for a friend that we have not seen in some time and that had never lived with us. I'm not sure how they knew that we had known him.
We have a 15 day grace period and have never not paid our mortgage. We did not choose to do business with this corrupt company, they bought the loan in a package. They call us everyday, sometimes 4 or 5 times within a half hour in side that grace period wanting their payment over the phone. I have told them that we will pay when we can and to stop making these harassing phone calls or we will report them to the attorney general. They still call back with in a few minutes.
My husband was looking for jobs online and put his cell number instead of the house number and they somehow started sending him text and data and its been 10.00 12.00 and so on. Verizon Wireless said they can do anything about it.l
This company just called my work, asking for my payroll mgr. and then when she was not availible, he asked for me by my maiden name. I don't know right now who they are, but I intend to find out.
I received a call from this outfit. The individual could barely speak English. He claimed I owed money for a cell phone bill that was paid long ago, and stating that if I didn't pay, it would affect my credit. I question the validity of this outfit.
I don't know who these people are, but as soon as I called it sounded like she said "thank you for calling please hold" but before she finished, she cut herself off by putting me on hold. Then I heard extremely lound Bahamian music long enough for me to read these posts when she got back on the line. By then, I just hung up on her. IDK what you make of it, but I'm a little leery of it already.
never mind, apparently it's an automated call from Medco, a mail order pharmacy which I do use, and they're actually protecting my health information by not leaving messages when they don't know if other people can listen to them.
THIS IS A BOTTOM FEEDER COLLECTION AGENCY....
In case some of you do not know what bottom feeder collectors are they they un-reputable collection agencys that buy OLD DEBT that has expired and try to collect....The debts are old and the collectors have no current contact info so they are constantly calling any old numbers they have in hopes of collecting just one of the old debts they purchase...BOTTOM FEEDERS!!!!
And for anyone who suggests that you pay your bill to prevent contact from these bottom feeders, don't be fooled, you will not be paying your old debt, it was written off, you will just be paying these dis-honest low-class collectors who will not work for a living and try to feed off others !!!!!
REPORT TO YOUR STATES INSURANCE AND BANKING COMMISION...YOU CAN FILE A COMPLAINT ON-LINE,VERY SIMPLE, AND THEY CANNOT LEGALLY CONTACT YOU AGAIN.....
