called and would let me make payment arrangement was rude and asked if i have a lawyer cause they were going to sue me.. i don't think they can do that. going to report this.
I've been getting these phone calls repeatedly the past few days, and when I actually pick up, it sounds as if I were butt dialed and you hear random chatter in the background.
I called the number back, which is how I found out it was the Union Tribune, and spoke to customer service to request that I never be contacted by the Union Tribune again.
I regret ever signing up for the tribune a while ago because they constantly call, but I am hopeful that their do not call list actually works and I am never contacted by them again.
He actually called a neighbor who doesn't even know me and asked if she could give him my phone number! How can they get away with that tactic??? She siad she didn't know my number but to leave his number with her and she would knock on my door and give me the message!!! Can they really harass your neighbors??
They call OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN. Before they will tell me what they are calling for, they ask me to confirm my social security number. Ummm NO, I don't think so!

I keep getting calls from EOCCA..they say a collection agency. I know I dont owe any money so I called them back to ask them to take me off their list. They are saying I owe XM Radio money. My year contract was up in May. The radio is off and they want me back as a customer and keep sending me offers which I dont take. They are trying to charge $7 for a late fee. How can I owe a late fee for a service I did not and am not purchasing. This is what XM Radio does when you dont resign with them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Illegal!
They are supposed to be a Collection Agency, so they call and leave very Rude messages to people who have nothing to do with them or the Company they are representing! Have told them nemerous times not to call, but they continue to do so. They have made threats to have things put on people's Credit if they dont fix the problem, yet the people they are threatening have nothing to do with them.
This number calls me up to 10 times per day, and anytime of the day. It is a Chase Bank Automated service call to notify its clients of their accounts balances. I am not a Chase client and I still receive these calls. I have advised Chase to remove this number from their calling notification list but they said it will take a month to remove it from their system. Personally I believe this is a load of bull. If these calls do not stop, I will take legal action against Chase. It has become such an annoyance and is now harassment.
i called tmobile and they said didnt know the number. to direguard it. they acted as if they knew but was unable to say who .They are becoming a very unreliable company i am going to cancel my service
They don't want any credit card information. Just 3 numbers from postal code and phone number (which they already have) and they knew all my past purchases. Just wanted a press one if you did this, press two if you didn't. I had just been on a weekend trip and had many gas stations. It is legit.
They are commission based bill collectors, the lowest of the low. They stop calling after a few months, and do not get their commission for harassing people. :)
i am getting up to 3 calls a day from this number ncluding saturdays and sundays....nites and before 8 am....eastern time...no one says anything....and after a few seconds..i am disconnected...they are calling each and every day...
Company name is "Monitronics" A fake monitoring system in association with "Platinum Protection", a door-to-door home security sales SCAM from Provo, Utah area which sends salesmen/installer teams out to various cities all over the nation during the summer. They do not even have a license to do business in some states. BBB has ordered them to cease and desist. Consumer Reports magazine cautions to never do business with DTD's. Plenty of other complaints found on Google.
Calls every day, sometimes three times a day. Caller ID sometimes shows "Toll Free", sometimes "Private Name". Recorded message cuts off before it's complete, so you can't call them back.

called my phone. When i picked up reciever and answered I was connected to a representative who i asked what I want. I said I don't want anything, just to know who are they, and representative hanged up. I still recive these calls from time to time. The only thing I noticed it happens on days when I dohn't use my cell-phone, so I became to suspect that this is done by my cell-phone provider (T-mobile) to take money out of my account.
A man called asking the my husband or his parents. We're senior citizens and found this to be offensive. When I told him no he could not talk to 'Jim's parents' because they were senior/senior citizens and hung up. He called back two more times right away but I didn't answer
called asking to varify my personal info..and when i asked who they were they said eocca and i asked what eocca stood for she said nothing they just needed me to varify my info
