These sheisters have apparently put our phone number with our address which used to be the home of the wife of her jailbird husband they're trying to collect a debt from. We've owned this address for 6 years now - so what these guys are doing is out and out phishing. Their vaguely threatening threats are designed to scare us into calling and giving them as much info as we can in the hopes they'll stop calling. People who have given in and called have been treated rudely or reached an inoperative number. Now that I think of it our neighborhood has been targeted with some daytime break-ins lately, I wonder if this is at all related to those.
I just recieved a call today from them. I just recently closed the card due to a 30% APR Rate which, in my opinion, is way too high. I've always paid my bill in full every month and never had any problems. Now they are harrassing me to pay the card off completely and they haven't even sent my "final statement".
These calls are very annoying ... computer call asking if I am one of 1000's who doesn't have health insurance. I have insurance that I am happy with and do not want these calls. How do we block this caller!!!!???
I reported them to the FCC and filed a complaint with the the National Do Not Call Registrar. I'm absolutely fed up with this company. Everything about their message is illegal...I'm on the National Do Not Call list and have been since 2005, I've pressed option 2 to be removed on several instances, and I'm pretty sure they aren't supposed to use pre-recorded messages. received a call from this number 216-545-8326 checking up on an account ending in #????, a curtosity call from Bank of America. I told them I did not answer questions over the phone regarding this.
She said she understood this it was just a curtosity call. i hung up.
Says he's playing phone tag with the person he's trying to reach, when in fact that person has never tried to call him, and doesn't know who he is. Won't leave a message; won't explain the nature of his call.
I answer the phone by the business name...

I said yes and then he asked what the physical address was
for this business - said he's doing GPS maps or something.
I asked how he got the number, he said I googled it - and I said, the address was right beside the phone number..Why
the call??..Scam of sorts or what?
I get alot of strange calls, this one is just weird.

Die Nummer 02161947930 ist nicht über die Rückwärtssuche zu finden.
Laut Auskunft unter 08003301000 -> Rechnung -> Beschwerde gehört diese Nummer auf jeden Fall NICHT zum Bereich Privatkunden, dann das kann der Gesprächspartner unter der 0800-Nummer nach eigener Ausgage überprüfen.
Ich habe bereite mehrmals wegen dieser Nummer unter der 0800-Nummer die Dt.Telekom dazu aufgefordert, schriftlich zu den Anrufen der 02161947930 Stellung zu nehmen. Nich habe ich keine schriftliche Stellungnahme erhalten.
Der Dt. Telekom ist bereits seit mehreren Monaten bekannt, dass ich von der dt. Telekom keine Werbeanrufe, Infoanrufe und ähnliches bekommen will, und hat dies auch bestätigt.
Insofern ist davon auszugehen, dass es sich bei 02161947930 nicht um eine Aktion von der Dt. Telekom handelt. Offensichtlich sind das Cold-Calls.
Leider werde ich zum erstenmal in meinem Leben gezwungen sein, Strafanzeige zu stellen.
Hallo, habe eben ebenfalls einen "Vertriebspartner" der Telekom unter 02161947930 (er stellte sich wörtlich als Deutsche Telekom vor!) an der Strippe gehabt, da ich Anschlussinhaberin bin und er meinen Namen nicht kannte, kam mir das schon Spanisch vor. Als ich um meine Kundennummer bei der Telekom bat, hatte er eine fadenscheinige Ausrede (komme gerade nicht ins System, das Kundenbetreuungsystem der DTAg kannte er aber nicht ;-0)
Ist definitiv keine seriöse Sache.
Ich habe auch einen Anruf bekommen.
Allerdings war ich nicht in diesem Moment da...
Es gibt aber 2 VERSCHIEDENE..... Telekom und Telecom...
Die haben sogar ähnliches Logo... sind aber nicht das eine und das selbe.... der Unterschied ist nur der Buchstabe "k"
Heute Abend habe ich einen Anruf von der Nummer 02161947930 bekommen. Am Hörer war zunächst eine nette und kompente Frau von der "Telekom" zu hören. Im Laufe des Gesprächs wies sie mich darauf hin, dass ich gezwungen sei völlig zur Telekom zuwechseln. Sprich, Telefon und die Internetverbindung. Die Frau zwang mich förmlich dazu zu wechseln. Nachdem ich ihr gesagt habe, das ich nicht dazu bereit wäre und bei der Telekom zu kündigen, hat dier Frau das Gespräch sofort beendet und die angebliche Umstellung rückgängig gemacht. Nun bleibt die Frage, ob es wirklich ein Mitarbeiter der Telekom war ?!
Caller said was from Save The Children. Started by saying was NOT calling to ask for a donation, but instead wanted to 1) thank us for donating over the years, and 2) asking if we would be willing to send media out to family and friends, and that STC would supply everything. Told her no and to remove our number from their call list. She said she would, thanked me again for donations, and hung up.
