Caller sounded like he was doing a voiceover like they do at police stations. Said an officers name but couldn't understand who because of the synchronization. he made sure he would be cutting in and out whenever he gave his name and any other information. Said charges were being filed against me. I had trouble with these perople several months ago also but without voiceover. They ekpt calling my best friend and she finally told them that she couldn't understand them and that the people in her household only spoke English. She told them not to call her again. I have reported them to the FTC but apparently they are still getting away with scamming people. They need to be stopped. I am 65 and on Social Security and do not need to continually be threatened.
They call every 20 min-day, night, weekend, no message, and do not speak to me- just hung it. i do not call back, because my friend had problem with calls lake that- he called, waited as they ask and pay a lot of money for his call
Calls with a caller ID of Texas, making it seem as it is official. They never leave a message. Luckily, I do not answer calls I have no idea who they are. I would LOVE someone to threaten me. I'm glad I found this site so I could find out who these weird numbers are.
second call today. missed the first one. didn't leave a message. second time i answered and a woman asked for me. i identified myself as the person she was looking for. she hung up.

Lim Alden is what caller ID reads. San Antonio Area Code. This person called on July 4th at 9:30 am. What is up with that? Are they bored on a holiday?
got calls from this number about 10 times a day. I finally called it back after a week. They were very persistent to get my account number. Just keep hitting the 0 button on your phone and you will get a scammer who is trying to get your number and tell them they better stop calling you. They "act" like they are looking at your info, but I can tell they are putting on an act! Isn't this illegal? If I get one more call I will finally answer and tell them where to go.
They called saying that they were going to arrest me and file charges for not paying back a payday loan. They call 5-8 times a day hang up on co workers, and boss.
Must be Credit One credit card company, as somepne else said. I have a Credit One card. I paid them, not sure why they keep calling without leaving a message. Annoying.
I'm on the no call list, these people called at 9:11 in the evening! I was very upset and just given a number to call, which was just a recording. I reported it to the BBB. Gees, where do they find these idiots!!!
THESE CALLS ARE DANGEROUS SCAMS. They are not from Chase. If you have a Chase account, call the customer service number on the back of your card and tell them you received phone calls from this number. Chase has verified that calls from this number are fraudulent. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GIVE OUT ANY OF YOUR INFORMATION TO CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER.
They know more than your phone number and it is not random. They know your name, address and want to know your birthdate, or verify it. What else do they already know?
Questions leading to survey are manipulative to talk to who they have pre-chosen in your home. This eventually manipulates the data collected and skews results.
They will also send you a postcard pre-printed saying they are sorry if we upset you. Must have happened to them a lot to have a special card already made in anticipation.
Too much smoke from these calls and they are harassing.
This is NOT a very professional company even though their postcard said so.
Beware.... their motive is very questionable.

They call me early in the morning till late at night. They call every 30 minutes or so. This morning my first call was at 8:23 and my second at 8:25. I do NOT answer. They also left a voice message on my phone at work ON SUNDAY night. Someone has to put a stop to this.

Someone must put a stop to these annoying calls....I have received eight (8) calls so far today 5/20/10. I do not answer the calls. The calls start early in the morning and end late at night and it is an infringement on people's right to privacy from such stupidity. Please someone take action immediately to put this outfit out of business NOW!!
