Hello,I get call from 1 201 338 6189 at least twice a day.
Sometimes it calls me at midnight.
When I answered there was no answer on the other side.
However, I called back, the system said the number I called it doesn't exist.
It is really bugging me.
Can you help me with that?
This company is also known as Quality Control and the callers name was Trevor whom is also known as Ron. I did a search on the State of Michigan's DLEG business entity search and neither company exists. This is a very good reason to avoid them in addition to the fact that they do not honor any requests for removing your phone number from their call list, even when the number is on the national Do Not Call list.
Trevor aka Ron has a gruff/smokers type voice. Even this is enough to cause a red flag.

They called wanting to give me a free credit report. They had my name and address. Upon verifying, they wanted to read "the fine print", which included an "if you decide to cancel, just call" note.
Basically, they are selling credit monitoring services. This is a scam - they Bank of America was doing this "because they care", when in actuality, they are doing it to con unknowing people into signing up for paid services.
This junk dialer called, and I hung up. They called back immediately, and no one answered the other end. Who are these guys, and what do they want? Obviously not to talk to someone...I don't get it. Regardless, how are they able to junk dial?
Caller ID said Customer Service. I didn't answer this one. When the caller ID is vague like this I don't answer and let the call go to a fax machine I set up to answer on the fifth ring. I'm tired of being called by this kind of company.
These people have called me 5 times this morning looking for my wife. They have been asking for her under her maiden name, which she hasn't used since we got married 7 months ago. They refuse to respond to any questions, and hang up when I press the issue.
They identify themselves as the Auto Loan Network and said that my wife applied for an auto loan (she didn't).
Robo-calls. These guys are very persistant, but every since installing Call Control on my Blackberry I haven't had a single problem with them calling. Silence is Golden!
SOMEONE CALLED FROM THIS NUMBER 1-260-407-1352 DID NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE AND WHEN YOU CALL BACK THE AUTOMATED SYSTEM STATES CAN NOT RECEIVE CALLS OR IT GOES DEAD
I received two telephone calls from this number and the voice mails that are received are completely unintelligible. Not sure who this is, probably some foreign call.
Called and asked a name that must have been the previous owner of our phone. We've already changed our number once because these scammers keep calling and now our new number is getting these calls. I wish there was a way to block them without paying Verizon $5/mo. What a scam...

Female stated she was calling about my pending payment for hospital services? Said she was from Medex?
They called me and i couldn't answer because i was in class. 5 minutes later, i called back and it says "the number you dialed is not a working number." wth.
This company calls every five minutes from around five till about six in the evening. If answered, it gives only a fax sound. When called back, it gives only a fax sound.
What can be done? I am already on the Do Not Call list.

I ran the number and it belongs to a call center operated by Tex-link Communications, Inc out of Dallas, Texas. They are an internet marketing service probably looking to get your business

The line is silent for a long time. When they finally come on the line, they ask for someone who does not live here. When I ask who is calling, they hang up.
Today (10/22/09) at 3:55PM I began getting calls from 1-213-426-2705 with a caller-id "globalreach int". I received 15 calls by 7:55PM this evening. No call was answered by me directly only by my answering machine. Only full length "blank" messages were left by the caller which will use up my answering machine's disk space if not regularly deleted.
I AM GETTING FED UP WITH THIS VIRGINA COLLEGE CONSTANTLY CALLING ME DAY AND NIGHT. I KEEP IGNORING THEIR INCOMING CALLS, BUT THEY LEAVE A VOICEMAIL. I HAVE TOLD "ELIZABETH" THE ONE WHO IS THE MAIN CALLER/VOICEMAIL, THAT THEY HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER.

Global International something or other. Caller asked for me by name then talked about Grant Money. I asked them to stop calling several times. I threatened to expose the scam. I asked for a supervisor. Nothing has stopped them.
I got this call on my cell phone saying something about my credit card and lowering interest rates. I pressed 1 so I could ask them not to call me again. The man was rude and swore at me and called me a prick. Then he hung up. I tried to call the number back to report this abuse, but I was told the number had been disconnected or was no longer in service.

Calls me several times on my cell phone, often regarding nonexistent payments, despite the fact that I have had no business dealings whatsoever with HSBC.
Since they seem to be asking for one individual by name, I will assume good faith in that they've made a keying/records error. Will attempt to rectify as soon as possible.
