I have a private and blocked number. I kept ignoring these calls and finally decided to answer to get them to stop calling. However, every time I answer, it's just empty air. It is frustrating that people like me can be "punished" for having a telephone!

They call me every single day at about the same time. today it was 10:39 am. I have my telephone block them but they still call. Today I called them and a woman answered saying I must have signed up for some educational course on line (wrong). I asked her to remove me from their calling list and she said she whould said thank you for calling. I said WAIT......how can you remove me from your calling list if you don't have my phone number,. (my phone number is blocked because of work- so I knew she didn't have it). Then she said oh yes thats right, what is your phone number. I gave it to herl Something tells me that I will continue to get these calls.

It turns out this telephone number was discontinued and these calls are spoofed! The easiest way is to block this phone number.
