+1 415 Area Code Reports

This call was concerning that i was needing to get an attorney. I asked them what it was about. They said that i would get arrested the next day if I did not pay this outstanding amount. I contacted those companies that I had done business with and they knew nothing about this. I knew that this had to be a scam. Almost got my money. They said that I had to contact them with regards to sending them the money. No checks, credit/debit cards etc. allowed.

will not reply to them there are all sorts of scammers and nuts out there that will do anything to get your money

a4095397357 called my work saying it was urgent i call back. being sat i called mon. said to call the 415-915-7351 to speak to the lawyer. i did and it was the same that called a year ago. asked why i was yelling and cussing because they would not tell me what they wanted. told them they had tried once and got nothing. my lawyer said they have to send you written notice . since i was at work he looked it up and said it was a scam. the fools can threaten me with jail but will get nowhere with me. even the cops said it was a scam they just can't trace throw away cell phones. do not give them your money,

Correction the area code was 415.....He was very rude when I asked him specific questions and he stated that I knew what this was about when I asked who he was. When I called him back he just answered the phone as Hello...not representing a company. He wanted to know who I was and I said you called me you must know who you called threating a lawsuit against....I have not received any more calls as of yet. Hopefully it will stop, but I was concerned about how much information he did have. Hopefully this man will be caught and no one will be hurt by him.

I received a call claiming I owed $498.36 and I was being sued. He knew my place of work, home address,and banking institution. I am a single mother and he has called my house 8 times today! I am happy for this site,I am very concerned about this.

We just received a call from this number at my place of work. The man was very hard to understand. He asked for an offsite co-worker of mine and asked that I pass the message along for her to call Eric Jones from the Law Office of Michael Carter regarding a legal matter. When she called he then said, he wasn't sure what she was talking about. Definetly a SCAM. Also very scary that he was able to get her work telephone number.

very poor english accent said their attorney would be in touch with me. the man sounded East Indian.

Lisa, just got a call from a person (WHO COULD BARELY SPEAK ENGLISH) threatening me with Sheriff and jail and wanted my attorney. I tried calling the number they gave me and it does not ring. YOUR RIGHT THIS IS A SCAM!!!

stated that is dire emergency that i call him back or my attorney, would not inform me of why my attorney needed to call. But he had my social security number.

This foreign guy claims to be collecting on a payday loan and threatens to put you in jail get a garnishment all kinds of crazy. Know your rights only a prosecuting attorney can put you in jail for a bad check, you cant get a garnishment without a lawsuit and to threaten in anyway is a violation of the FDCPA and you have grounds to file suit. DO NOT GIVE THEM ONE DIME OF YOU HARD EARNED MONEY THIS IS FRAUD AND A SCAM.

I just got a call from the same number about 20 minutes ago saying i was going to get arrested tomorrow morning at 11am for not paying off my loan, when i never received a loan from anybody...This is beyond cold for these people to make up false stories. They need to be reported and i hope they get dealt with very soon!!!

I got 2 missed call at 1 am and when i received 3rd time it disconnected, i tried to call back , It asked my account number and i disconnected. it charged me for this call too.
